On an aside, what is Adam Johnson actually good at?

I know he's highly rated by many on this site, so perhaps someone can explain it to me. I watched him for the U-21's last night and again, he struck me as being very average. What makes him any better than someone like Milner?

More imaginative or at least realistic than 2 pages of 'post your wierdest rumours' ? :🙂

Everyone is guessing / has an opinion on where the merry-go-round is going to stop. Put in down and let's see who gets close- or maybe it's just too much like hard work eh ?
