Poll Who will be the first Fulham player to be linked with us?

Unfortunately, there are a couple positions where you could throw a rock in the premiership and hit better players than what we've got. Left back and back up strikers chief amongst them. Konchesky isn't fantastic, but he's miles better than Insua, so that's an easy one.

I'll take better than every time given the circumstances. He shouldn't cost much. Besides, for old times sake, lets continue buying not very good left backs.

During the interview this afternoon Hodgson said he'd told Al Fayed he wouldn't raid Fulham.

I'd sooner take Riise back before touching Konchesky with a 10 foot pole. Gibbs or Traore from the Gooners would be a good option.

Err, no.

He means imagine if Rafa was still here and he signed a CB when we are obviously short of funds and have higher priorities in other areas. Rafa would get a lot of stick for even being linked to another CB at this stage.

I would imagine 1 player (if Roy actually does want anybody) would not be considered a raid, especially if it was a player+cash deal (ship out someone meh). We may get someone from them yet.
