Not sure we have a "managerial casualty" thread, but who do we think will be first to jump/ be pushed?

Quite a few compelling candidates, with the ever-reliable Mark Hughes looking wobbly, and that baseball capped knobhead Pulis too.

Not sure if Moyes would resign or get pushed, but while Hull were most people's choice for a doomed season, the other favourite Sunderland look fucked already.

Obviously, I hope that Mourinho, Guardiola and Conte are all under immense pressure and rumours start to fly, but that seems rather wishful thinking.

So I hope it's Pardew. As usual.

Bilic might be one to go. 3 points out of 12. Didn't even qualify for the Europa league.

Think Mark Hughes must under a lot of pressure so far. Same with Pulis.
Sunderland havent won any of their 4 first games for something like the 3-4 season running, so I'm guessing they'll have a bit more patience.

By many accounts, Hughes has done a good job at Stoke, and is popular. But he seems to fall to pieces as soon as he starts making noises about shaping the team and being allowed to spend money.

He brings in a load of big (ish) players on fat contracts and large fees, and then doesn't know what the fuck to do with them all. Happened at City and QPR.

Pulis and his board are at eachother's throats over the transfer activity, not unsual for him. And if there is a takeover, the incumbent is always fucked anyway.

So he's fucked, basically.

Yeah, seeing as they finished 9th last season I'm a bit surprised they look so awful now.
Could be that he's given a bit of time to get things right seeing as he is popular as you say.
Palace and West Brom in their next two games and needs to get something from those.

1-4 and 0-4 at home in their first 2 home games is bad though. Shockingly bad.

Pulis has to be the big favourite, it's almost like he's asking for the sack.

I thought the Watford guy might be the first because their owners are trigger-happy but that win at West Ham will buy some time.

Fair points, but Sunderland have looked dreadful so far, and they have a history of panicking with managers.

It has to be Pulis. The fans hate him, the board hates him, his team plays rubbish football. Ironically, he's probably the only person who could possibly keep the current West Brom team in the Premier League.

Yup, I fully expect them to sack Pulis, put someone like Alan Curbishley in charge and get relegated at least 5 games before the end of the season.

Wonder what the odds are...sounds so plausible? Though I'm going to say Nigel Pearson or Steve Bruce to come in.

To be fair to Stoke, they have had a twatty start with the fixture list:

Middlesborough Away - Promoted Team away first game. Never easy.
Man City Home - Enough said
Everton Away - Tough place to go anyway and much improved this season under Koeman
Tottenham Home - Last seasons runners up and bloody good side

They play Utd in a couple of weeks and once that is out of the way, they have a good run. I'll be sticking Bony in my Fantasy Football team shortly.

Another vote for Pulis from me. He's practically begging to be bought out of his contract. Some talk in the Midlands media of Hodgson going back there.

Oh God. Not him again! A guy who goes to my local is actually his nephew. He gets to call him Uncle Woy to his face.

That makes sense. He did OK there, and he's also high profile for the new Chinese owners.

England football boss! Much win! High-minded principles spell success!
