I voted for other. Luciano Spalletti is my preferred choice. Doubt he'll be linked though.
Spaletti 8)

Cracking season with Zenit, and no way will they let him leave (not that he wants to)
Yeah, with their board's $$ to burn and him barely into his contract, doubt he'll be in a hurry to leave. Besides, he speaks no English apparently so that's a minus.

If we do make Villa Boas as our major target, I think it'll be fair to say we'll have to wait till the summer. He's on his way to winning his 1st major trophy with Porto and to leave midseason after doing all the good work, emptyhanded, will be quite a sacrifice imo.

Edit: Opps, forgot about Klopp. Think the scenario will be similar to Boas'.

I don't care, as long as it isn't the current useless cunt

That's what people said about Rafa, and now look at us 😉

Boas looks alright I guess.
Di Matteo reminds me of one of the muppets. COuld be Gonzo?
But still looks smart in a suit/v-neck.
I think DiMatteo and Pep are the benchmark for how our next manager should look.
DiMatteo is the dream obviously.

Guus is world class?
What's wrong with Coyle? He is doing a good job as a manager. Did well with that scottish team he lead to promotion.
Burnley promoted.
Bolton doing well.

And Martinez has done?
Yes dear Guus is world class if you dont know him this will help http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guus_Hiddink and Martinez likes sexy pass and move and groove like smooth jazz 8)

Ha, just reading through the facebook comments on some LFC post.

Some 'insider' reckons Carra's retiring tomorrow to become manager.

Plus Lucas is going on loan to West Ham and we're getting Bojan.

Hiddink won the European Cup when Liverpool were banned, and that's about it.
He won the 2009 F.A. cup with chelsea ,in 2005 he took a very weak PSV Eindhoven team to the semi finals of the champions league .He won six Dutch titles with that team he also took the south korean team to the semi finals of the world cup in 2002.

Graeme Souness won an FA Cup.

South Korea had a ridiculous amount of refereeing decisions go their way, so much so they were allegations of bribery if I recall correctly.

Fair enough with PSV getting to a semi, but who cares about semis?

Dutch leagues, great.

No one is saying Coyle is world class.
He's a promising young manager.

Hiddink is over 60(I think) and hasn't really won much worth mentioning.
Roberto Martinez is younger and his sides play more attractive brand of football .

Owen Coyle. Has done an amazing job with two shit teams, he is young, plays a good style of football and is Scottish (liverpool have a succesful history with Scots) Owen Coyle all the way!!
Plates he wears jumpers and track suit bottoms. Behave.

I voted other - Martin O'Neill. I know everybody hates him on here but I think he's the best available at the moment

Kenny for the interim until the end of the season.... See how he does, I am pretty sure he cant do worse than Roy even if he has been out of the game a while.

Its rubbish that Kenny has been out of the game too long. Football has not changed as a game, the basic principles still apply now as they did 30 years ago. He will need some good people around him with regards to fitness training etc but the guy has the golden touch.

If he does just steady the ship and we manage to scrape UEFA then it will be a difficult decision.....

I'd still take him over Deschamps or Rijkaard etc due to his knowledge of the British game. The only reason to employ a European name would be to attract foreign players etc.... This might be the reason he wont get the position.

My preference in this case would be Rijkaard. He did a great job at Barca recreating a underperforming team into European Champions. He also has a lots of knowledge from his playing career. Rijkaard would want us to play the right way also.

That highlighted bit is the key phrase, and encapsulates what we must NOT do. Roy has to go, but finding the right replacement isn't going to be a quick job, and that's why putting Kenny in for the rest of this season is the only sensible way forward.

If it's Coyle, O'Neill or Allardyce, I might kill myself.

There isn't a British manager out there that's good enough, we need to get over it already.
