When will Jurgen Flopp learn...

It's quite simple really

Sign a goalscorer, centre back and DM. Play 4-2-3-1 with Firmino behind new striker and a proper DM next to Henderson.

Don't be a dullard. He needs to start showing a bit more than he is, but it's still relatively early days. He needs backing big in the Summer, but the rest of the season now is down to him to start getting things right and to start changing things instead of persisting with the same things that just aren't working.

And contrary to the stuff posted in the match and post match threads, it's not a cliche or an empty observation to suggest he needs to get his team fired up for every game. It's his fucking job

He talked too much. I wish he just stop talking and do the fucking job.

He has the budget to go out there and get a top class player. We'll see this summer.

Flopp's style of play does not include a DM. We need 2 quality strikers. 1 centre back. 1 left back. 1 left winger. 1 central midfielder.

It's on Klopp for picking him, but Lucas can be criticised for being consistently at fault for goals. Ok, so it's not his fault he's been used at centre half, but it's been a facet of his game anyway, to be a liability.

Klopp is baffling me playing Lucas while his own signing sits on the bench, so the whole "oh it's not his team" crap is just grating. He said at the start of the season this is "his" team, he's happy with who he kept, who he got rid of and who he brought in. The rest is just excuses.
In fairness to Lucas he was superb against Spurs and without bias has been good more than he has been bad at CB this year just people like to use any excuse to abuse him. Everybody was screaming when the team was announced before the Spurs game that he would cost us the game and he was superb.
He was shite against Vardy and co but he gets unfair critisism more often than not.
I'd have swapped him and Can from the start if he was going to play

Just one thing.
I really hope Klopp sheds his "every player can improve mentality". They can't.
We're never going to have a top class player in every position, but for fucks sake we barely have two as is.

A concern that I have at the moment is this. He is well known for his motivational man management.

This doesn't appear to be working at the moment. The players look lost and lacking in direction. Thats on Klopp.

The players need to take responsibility for their lack of cohesion and silly mistakes / lapses in concentration. This spell has been going on since December - yeah we beat City and we beat Spurs and Stoke. But the first two come looking for a win so that opens them up to us. Stoke bullied us and made us look ordinary at first and went one up. Yeah we got back in it and went on to win, but even at 2-1 we weren't in control and it took a bad error and great anticipation by Sturridge to put them to bed. We knew they'd be physical but it was like we acted surprised when they actually were.

I like Klopp, I think we are the right club for him in so many ways and he is the right manager in so many ways. But this slump needs correcting and fast, or it's another season gone with minimal progress bar the early season form.

I was going to let this go but just can't let you get away with it and this cult-like delusional mantra Dreamy. He wasn't "superb" against Spurs, he did a job. He hasn't been more good than bad he's been an accident waiting to happen and got away with it a couple of times.
Glock is right how many times can a manager like Klopp keep making the same mistakes - What is it with Liverpool all our managers seem to hang themselves with the same rope - stubbornness. It becomes a problem when 99% of us dickhead supporters can see a problem and the manager can't - but he knows fucking best

He was superb and keep Kane and Co quiet while everyone thought they would rip us a knew one with him there at CB.

Let's look at his rating this season and what the results were when he started based on skysports ratings.

Leicester City (H) 5 Win 10/09
Derby County (A) 6 Win 20/09
Spurs (H) 7 Win 25/10
Watford (H) 7 Win 06/11
Leeds (H) 6.5 Win 29/11
Bournemouth (A) 4 Loss 04/12
Plymouth (H) 6 Draw 08/01
Southampton (A) 5 Loss 11/01
Plymouth (A) 7 Win 18/01
Wolves (H) 4 Loss 28/01
Hull (A) 5 Loss 04/02
Spurs (H) 7 Win 11/02
Leicester (A) 5 Loss 27/02

13 starts and he's had 2 shockers and 5 above average games.

7 wins
5 losses
1 draw

He isn't perfect by any means but this illusion that's his absolutely shite is rubbish or that we are destined to lose when he starts.

Before the entire team went to the shit in Jan he had
5 wins
1 draw
1 defeat
In 7 starts.

Not to mention the fact he's been asked to play at CB and comes in and out of the team a lot with little or no run of games to gain consistency.

I suppose some of that's fair Pat, but he's still not been ideal and sometimes weve won in spite of him, because our team has dominated. Our best defensive displays come when we dominate well, because we effectively take pressure off the defense. Sometimes it seems like our only form of defense. Which is why we crumble so easily when our pressing game is off.

Aside from the two Spurs wins and the one against a mediocre Leicester (in which he gifted them a goal) the rest of his performances have come against second rate opposition - Derby, Watford, Leeds & plymouth, as Vlad said, it's frustrating he's playing because he's not a centre back and he's not good enough. He'll do a job in some games and his attitude and professionalism is always commendable, but he's proving to be one of many of Klopps blind spots and it's wearing really thin with the supporters.

Thank you for taking the time to do all that whatever it was Dreamy. Sorry I can only imagine what it said because I couldn't be arsed reading it I'm afraid , but someone else might.

He's been a blind spot now for how many managers?

5?
Rafa, Hodgeson, Kenny, Rodgers, Klopp.

Lucas is by no means a great player but if every other player had his attitude and application we'd be in a much better place.

As you've correctly stated we crumble not because of Lucas but because we are set up to fail unless everyone of our front 6 play well and press well.

When they don't we go to shit, Lucas included but he's an easy target.

Matip was supposed to be the signing of the year 'the best since Hyppia', where the fuck was he?
Clyne, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Firminio? They were all utter shite, yet people still fixate on the player who actually you can understand getting roasted as he's slow a short fuck and was pitted against an opponent with lightening pace, with no defensive cover in front of behind and no pressure on the through ball.

A lot of issues are on Klopp and his approach including exlosing our CBs if you choose to pick that pair

You read Marks reply that was just as long and liked it so you are either a prick for reading it and pretending you didn't to serve your point or you are a prick for not reading it when you get called out on a bullshit point.

What a load of bull that was!

Clyne, Milner, Lallana Coutinho Firmino all had loads of wonderful games for us before, unlike fucking Lucas, only a couple of good games for us in 200+ games!

Thats the difference with them and Lucas!

Matip on the other hand had a decent game beginning of this season. Turned shite after came back from injury. Can't compare.

Lucas is dogshite! I can't fucking believe there'd be someone banging on about Lucas!
