We have lost ONE league game since Spurs drubbed us on the 22nd October.

Once in over four months.

I hadn't really strung it all together but what amazing form.
It's such a shame this City team have been so unbeatable all season. Literally ANY other year we would be right in the title chase.

Yup, been a fantastic run ... A few more quality additions in the summer, and hopefully another good run with a title challenge.

If we'd signed Virgil in the summer, we'd definitely have a lot more points and city would have at least three less. I've forgotten who ballsed that up, but the only way to feel better about this season now is to squeeze your hands around his neck and repeatedly smash his head into the pavement.

They made a good point on the Anfield Wrap this week (yes I know), in that most Liverpool fans think we win that city game of Mane doesn't get sent off.

In that alternate universe, City aren't unbeaten & we're the team that beat them & to fear & we have Mane for the next few games too.

The entire season could have a very very different outlook, just because of that one decision.

Its amazing really, and shows what a great season we’re having.

To be honest though, this thread could have been saved for next Saturday afternoon Oncy 😉

We haven’t lost at home in over 10 months.

Klopp has turned us into one of the best sides in Europe.

Credit to Klopp, he's an amazing coach. We have actually looked like a more balanced side since losing Coutinho. Lets finish the season strongly, and win number 6.

I'd rather see season summaries in May (though admittedly - so far so very very good...)

A score says we finish above them.
*Spits in Palm*

Such a shame that one loss was against Fucking Swansea but yes we are incredibly consistent now.

CL is a big possibility.

The bookies have us at anywhere between1/10 and 1/16 to qualify, so they clearly think we're practically a cert.

If Citeh win today and we get at least a point at old toilet then I think the top four will be mancs x2, us and Spurs

Definitely

The order from 2-4 is anyone's guess though

The top 4 should stay pretty much as it is now. Dunno about the order like.

If we finish top 4 in consecutive seasons, we'll have shown the kind of consistency we haven't seen in about a decade.

That also means that FSG needs to pull out all the stops this summer.

Windows of title contention last for about 2-3 years, and this squad is on the brink of that if correctly backed.

FSG need to spend, and make sure none of our best players leave.

They won't, no doubt.

Key to that is a good run in the champions league, if we make the semi finals the case that we're one of the best teams in Europe is very easy to make.

Interesting enough, if Scum makes the semi finals the case for them being the luckiest shittiest borefest of Europe is equally easy to make.

The progression is great - its amazing to think that after the odd loss or draw the FSGOUT brigade were coming out, even the odd Klopp Out supporter. We are showing that having a bit of faith in a manager shows that things take time to get better. We are going into the final stages of the CL in great form and with great confidence and are going to start next season the same. Can't want to see Naby in the squad and which other additions we make.
