I've backed Carroll to be top scorer in euro 2012 @ 66/1, I'm just thinking if he can bag a couple in the first 3 games he will at least halve in price and I can lay it off on betfair for a profit.
Just looked now and he's 36/1 on betfair so actually I've already got a free 30/1 bet on him. Happy days.
Really like Carroll, hope he has a great summer for England and comes back raring to go for the new season.

how superb was big Andy to the other night for England. Great touch, amazing header and kept the ball really well for us.
He also helped out a lot defending from set pieces, only downside was his stupid foul which led to their goal.
He is bloody unlucky to be dropped for Rooney but hopefully this proves his form has continued.
Also, congrats to him and the staff for his fitness, he has lost shit loads of fat and built some impressive muscle including his Arnie like jawline. Loved the bit at the end when they were walking off, Carroll with his shirt off showing his new abs then Stevie walks next to him stating "I'll see you your abs and raise you mine" never seen Stevie so lean.

There's a possibility neither could be dropped with Walcott carrying an injury. Welbeck has played wide before and couldn't be any worse than Milner on the right.
Milner was pants the other night and Young was not much better, so much so I might have even been tempted to give Downing a run.
I don't see that Rooney should walk back in anyway. I would have him on the bench and give him half an hour , unless circumstances dictated otherwise

No chance, the media love to have this buildup to a great saviour storyline. Then usually destroy them when they don't live up to it.
Roy hasn't the balls not to play him, cos if they fail it will be deemed his fault. Should he play rooney & they fail there's a good chance it will be he who is blamed.
Also, in his interview a comment was telling. Roy said 'he's a special case, I'm afraid he just has to play' that to me suggests the decision is not his or he's under pressure to toe the line.
Normally i'm one of the first to wish terrible things for English sports team, but i want them to go as far as they can. Gerrard deserves this, and so do all the other Liverpool players who are wearing the shirt with pride, despite all the criticism.

Sorry, should have clarified, I meant his last peno last season for us. Hence his confidence may not have been sky high so did the right thing not taking one.
