Well that was gash.
Credit to Rodgers for taking the early action to change the system. Where do you even start with our defensive frailties? And enough of this Gerrard is our captain and heartbeat shit. He's fucking atrocious in this position and if we can't find a place for him in the middle or behind the strikers then he has to be dropped because he's a liability. I called this weeks ago.
That said, as things stand and with the options we have left I'd hook Lucas and bring Lallana on. Give Borini another 15 then introduce Lambert.
On a positive and often overlooked note...Balotelli does not half put in a defensive shift.

I dont think even Lucas would drop that deep. He has the nous to offer options for passing. Gerrard just goes near Lovren, stands parallel to him or even goes behind him.
If we come out playing like we did in the 1st half, it only means Brodgers haven't got a clue how to fix us either.
He would be doing what Rodgers tells him to do. He might be better at it today.
