Also what a signing he was. Maybe the best from the Rodgers era in terms of value
There's also the 2019 coronavirus wiping out mankind scenario .. don't forget that one !If we lost 3 in a row, the motivation it would give them and momentum can't be under estimated.
Especially with a trip to the Etihad to come and the mounting pressure it would cause, it we lost there and the gap was down to 7pts with at least another 6 to play.
Thankfully, it's an extremely unlikely scenario, but to think a motivated City can't win all their remaining games, now they have Sane and Laporte back, and with all the shite teams in this league, is a little silly.
Missed most of the game
Came in blind drunk, ordered a pizza, saw 15 mins and fell asleep.
Remember seeing the goals but not why it was a peno or anything. Does anyone have good highlights?
Up the reds.
PS. Wtf happened with Trent?
Trent did brillantly there. Difficult situation but he refused to give away a corner and played a less dangerous option.
Even without VVD there is no chance we lose 3 in a row. There simply isn’t good enough teams to beat us.
Also Sane will take 6 months to be back to his best.
City are nowhere near the level they have been in the last 2 years. I would say there is almost zero chance they win all 14, regardless of our form.
Without vvd (wcc semi, the Shrewsbury game) our defence is disorganised. It’s not just vvd defending that is ace but his organisational skills and lifting the players around him. I doubt we would be in the position we are in if vvd had laptore type of lay off.
Not available mate!Just in case some cunt says Firmino handballed it:

Seemed pretty good against Everton in the cup.
Everton had 3 easy chances to score in the first half but hit the ball straight at adrian.
Another thing I noticed from watching the highlights: Mark Noble appears to be about 57 years old.
He can still play a bit, but his head's writing cheques his body can't cash and I suspect that he might even be slower than Lucas
I listened to the Echo's Analysing Anfield pod on the way to work today. The two lads had both missed the West Ham match, so, as an experiment, they did a match analysis using only the data. It was fascinating how accurate they were in describing the match - right down to identifying Robertson's chance in that they reckoned a lot of people would have thought he missed a sitter (as in this thread) but it was actually a very difficult chance (0.1 xg).
So I think the future of football is that no one need watch matches anymore - we can all have a brain implant into which match stats can be downloaded for full enjoyment.
Matches won't actually be played, just simulated, which will solve the issue with burning players out with too many games.
Kevin Toms beat everyone to it by about 40 years

This would have more clout if you weren't saying the exact opposite, equally as forcefully, a couple months back.
If only you’d state things as opinion rather factual you wouldn’t be having this issue. Or the cash out fiasco.Their constant slips ups have changed my view. An opinion changing based on new evidence isn’t that outrageous
