West Ham v Liverpool Match Thread

I'm just not feeling it for Chamberlain at all. He flatters to deceive thus far in his Anfield career.

Looks decent, but that rarely translates to end product.

Sometimes I feel like he's an older Jordan Ibe but I do think he's got it in him to be good for us

Don't go stinking out another thread with this bullsh!t. We're lucky to be ahead.
Agreed on the first, not so much on the second. Despite not having much of a midfield to speak of, we're happy in possession & are playing through them almost at will.

These came back from 2 nil down against Spurs who are a much stronger side. We need to stay focused.

I think he's alright. Give him a chance.
I'm going to, I won't rate him off for ages, but I can offer an opinion on what I've seen so far, & it's not great.

Klopp does seem to be able to turn raw talent & attributes into a quality player, he's done so before, so he may well do in this case too.

Need a 3rd to kill this off.

Crowd are on edge but if they get a goal back may become a difficult atmosphere for us.

And I reckon Ox has been pretty good. But I haven't got my glasses on so maybe I think it's someone else.

If his finishing was better he'd be playing for Real or Barca already. If it improves they'll be in for him like a shot.

It's interesting how many players left Chelsea and came back looking like champions, Sturridge, Salah, De Bruyne to name a few.

All too young to get a chance at Chelsea it seems, they bought some top players though

Lukaku, too. And Matic has left Chelsea twice.

But it's simply because they have so much money and buy/ hoard so many players, that lots of quality footballers have to leave to get games

It's the same with the Arab City, look at Dzeko for example

Isn't it amazing how much difference a stadium makes? Upton Park was aggressively febrile and could easily instil panic in opposing players. This stadium is a joy to play in, with Liverpool songs echoing around the ground. West Ham are conspiring to make it easy for us, despite us hardly stringing half a dozen passes together at times.

Where is Salah playing tonight? He and Firmino seem to be swapping roles up the middle.

We aren't looking great today but the pace up front is palpably dangerous... Can is having a mare and repeatedly giving the ball away and I hate the fact that Mignoley is still a patently dozy cunt...

But 2 nil...
