That's Neil thing. That makes him Spiderneil. I think he's great and thought he enjoyed the banter/abuse he gets ala DB (who doesn't give a flying fuck and says what he wants).

Neil can be boring, but I agree with him about Kuyt. And anytime Ryan has a go at someone for being 'wrong', all they have to do is find the thread where he made his 'How will that work? Fucking how?' remark about a team posted prior to the match, which was not only picked by the manager but went on to win said match 4-0.

Now THAT is how to be wrong.

Ha indeed, so many times this has happened. I saw Ryan talking about us getting tonked pre-match in a recent match that we won 3-0. And Not only is he way off, but I can't respect someone who disrespects people like the Neil-er. He's starting to seem like the new Bren.

As much as Neil can do my head in at times with contrived points and a reluctance to change a formed opinion, not to mention the recent histrionics, that is a huge disservice you do him by likening him to Fox. I'm still not wholly convinced that Fox isn't some fractured manifestation of Brendan's psyche, but if he isn't then at best he's a, harmless enough, breadbasket with the most fucked up list of 'likes' ever. Neil's only strange fetishes are Babel and Spiderman, at least one of them is footy related.

And it can go one of two ways, he sees all this realises he was a bit of a tit and comes back to the glory, or he sees this and realises he was a bit of a tit before not being able to man up enough to come back and we never see him again. I hope it's the former, if only for the shits and giggles surrounding him.

I think I had a go too about football anyway (a few people did) and the thread got out of hand. It's just a bit shit that not many people asked how he was when it was clear there was an issue, he usually takes most stuff on the chin so for him to have lost his rag, there must have been a reason or it must have just come to a head.

He's cool anyway, he just needs a timeout.
 
It's just yet another example of someone taking an internet forum far too seriously.

(I don't mean that to sound cuntish - I love this place and I appreciate the work Sunny et al put in)
