WELCOME Takumi Minamino

That's quite the rapport there between Keita and Minamino. Would be brilliant if they could replicate that here - and the mind boggles at what they could potentially achieve with our current front three. * salivates

Hmmmm. Hotel room it is!
And if it's midweek you can work out the KO times we have to regularly get up / stay up for!!

It'll have to be on your laptop too I guess, unless they start screening LFC matches on their terrestrials. None of our hotels had any euro football on live 🙁

I'm going to Japan this May. Hopefully this means local hostelries will be more likely to be playing LFC games whilst I'm there. Actually, what time will a 3pm kick off be in Japan?
Midnight. And highly dependent on which hotel you are staying unless you're using your computer to stream the matches.

Enjoy Japan mate. A wonderful country to visit. Clean, efficient, polite, and good food.

Anfield will now see a 200% surge of Japanese fans all out with their selfie sticks and DLSRs.
Mini is a very good looking man so I'm not surprised that he will get a lot of attention...Nike will love this fact as he'll be easy to market in Asia.

As for his fee for ironic is it that we are essentially cashing in our yearly YouTube income to pay for him lol
You’re gonna love Japan. It was like stepping onto a different planet the first time I visited. Fascinating culture and people.
I'd love to visit which city did you go to?

A bit on the expensive side though. But great fun nonetheless.
My wife and I didn't think it that expensive at all. Akin to London maybe but restaurants etc usually much cheaper than Shanghai (and London) unless perhaps eating in places like Ginza, and we loved their Supermarkets - waaay cheaper for the expensive items ; beef, alcohol, cakes etc.

I’ve been to Japan 5 or 6 times; so far my favorite city among those I visited is Kanazawa in Ishikawa prefecture. Lots of unique trades and crafts (the capital of gold leaf making), Ninja temples, great food, not too Westernized and touristy and a lot cheaper than Tokyo or Kyoto. For smaller cities I also liked Kurashiki and some small towns in the region near Mount Fuji, which is absolutely spectacular in a way you can only appreciate in person. Oh, and Okinawa is pretty cool to visit if you want more relaxed Japan-meets-Hawaii vibe.

We have a super tight itinerary. We start in Ise, which I believe is very traditional, then Kyoto, and finishing with a couple of days in Toyoto.

HTF did you manage to capture this? Its F'in amazing.
Do you sell your images on Getty Images, if you don't you should?

*big grin * Thanks BB. Yes I do sell them but not on GI. New website coming soon with a blog too which may be fun - or just self indulgent!

You're not much for punny titles but your photography is sensational. Just had a look at your website and told my wife we are going to Japan.
I can't recommend it highly enough. It's one of my favourite countries (along with Iceland and Nepal - for different reasons obviously). If you are going for the Sakura (Spring blossoms) or Momiji ( Autumn red & yellow leaves) then be sure to check the many Japanese websites (in English) that are updated weekly with the expected peak times and note that it varies from region to region.
