As I've said before, sky seem to think we play a defensive 4-5-1 yet when united won the European cup with exactly the same formation it was an attacking 4-3-3.

There's a fine line between the two because it's a very flexible formation, but I can understand why they'd say it;

Rooney and Ronaldo did have more licence than Kuyt and Riera, and put in far more eye-catching performances because of their outrageous talent.

I don't see it as a dig at Liverpool, at least Dirk & Riera are getting recognised for his defensive work, tracking back, etc
