Fat Sam played with big Andy Caroll, Carlton Cole, and Kevin Nolan away to Everton yesterday. That must have been that "entertaining football" approach he promised the board he'd bring this season.

I watched about 20 minutes of it last night and don't think the ball touched the grass once in that time.

To be fair to FS both Valencia and Sakho were out injured so he had no options but to revert to more Route One football.

I watched the whole game .. good entertainment. Everton were decent on the break but West Ham just failed to take advantage of their superiority. Carroll played three superb cross-field balls. He also won every header directed at him bar one !

Judging by his injury record I believe it's fair to assume that Andy Carroll will not be available for too many games this season.
I didn't watch WH yesterday, but from what I saw from Sakho and Valencia, both are great signings.

Spurs gets some absolutly ridiculous desicions going their way. Bentekes red card and now Ramirez.

Steve Bruce will no doubt bellyache after the game, but he has good reason to do so. Ramirez' red card was a terrible blunder by the officials. He did nothing. I doubt whether a United, Arsenal or Chelsea player would be sent off in similar circumstances.

Honestly, you could;t make up the amount of ridiculous decisions they get in their favour re red cards/pens etc.
