During Rafas tenure he signed 61 players for a fee of 234 mill £. Cisse for 14 mill was signed by Houllier.
Of those players 5 are still at the club. 4 if you consider Reina gone already.

How many of those players do we miss? Alonso, Arbeloa, Mascher, Garcia, Kuyt, Bellamy and Crouch. Although Kuyt had done his share for the club and more when he left. I would have liked to have kept Crouch for a few more seasons tbh.

12 out of 61 players then. Insane.

We've been shite at transfers for years and pissed away our money. That being Rafa, Woy, Kenny and also Rodgers to some extent.

Thank God things are looking better now. We should at least have won the league once with all that money.
