I dont think so either.I wonder what the dynamic between him and Loven will be like? I bet Lovren is not going to like getting barked at by the new colossus in town!
Good call KJ.Aye this has the Torres first game vibe about this...
Not really...we drew the Torres game...we won the Virgil game. As I said luck plus talent and not just talent.Good call KJ.
His early critics have been awfully quiet.

He was very good today. There is an assured calmness to him. He didn't look out of place at all in his first start.
By comparison Matip plays like a fanny, he's all over the place most of the time.
The partnership should be Klavan and VVD. Lovren and Matip are fucking shite

Bingo. You're missing KJ's point, namely that the game gave one the sense of having seen a major new LFC career begin.
What’s Stefan de Vrij like ?

There's an amazing bit in the game where Van Dyk and Matip both go up for a header in the Everton box (might have been when he scored, or his previous header that was straight at Pickford).
VVD is a colossus, wins the ball easily and is simply magnificent. Matip has jumped a bit earlier, misses the ball with his stupid 50p head, then gets nudged in the back and flies like a fucking wet dishcloth through the air and almost ends up in the fucking goal.
Like the limp-wristed twat that he is.
So he's weak too then(Conveniently missing how Matip was pushed by Holgate in the back with two hands)
Not disputing that he is but it looked to me like he exaggerated the fall to bring notice on the fact that he had been shoved in the back.So he's weak too then
For me that means 1) he had no desire to try and win the ball, or 2) weakNot disputing that he is but it looked to me like he exaggerated the fall to bring notice on the fact that he had been shoved in the back.
