Violet is the new black?

I genuinely like it - Then again (as I have confessed) I am 5% gay so that might explain it.

I must admit I like the violet -grey pink too.

It'll look good on the brown skinned fellows, like mane and firmino.

There was research that suggested kids want neon kits - my feeling is that this would need more 'hot pink' to meet that. However I would want to stab myself in the eye if that is the way we went with it. I love the idea of doing something 'different' and keeping the orange kit - make an example of it and promote it to next year's away kit within commentary around not being able to retire a shirt that has given such good cameo performances.

On a related note - i would be interested in research that suggests team's perform better in colours that are easier to spot at a glance e.g. orange, red, neons vs kits that are black, green etc.

One of the best teams we ever had played away in this.
Imagine how good they would have been if they could have seen each other!

It's the shade of red on the home shirt that gets me. I've long given up getting bothered about all the stupid design bits and pieces they do, like the Star Trek collars and the stupid white stripes etc etc. But I never get why, once they get a shirt that's a 'proper' LFC shade of red, like this season's shirt, they feel obliged to change THAT again. The club should say to all of these Tarquins and Gervaises: 'Look, just do the home and first away shirts like we want them. Then you can play around with the second and third shirts - really enjoy yourselves. But don't mess with the home shirt!!!!'

I have all the kits this year as it's the 125 years and the orange is my clear fav I love it

Taken an instant liking to the grey kit as well. I'd like to note that the latest leaks (Home, dark purple and grey kit) are surprising and almost seems too good to be true if not for Gini Wijnaldum's head vindicating some sort of authenticity when considered how tight New Balance and the club have managed to hold their future designs under wraps until the very last week, and even days in some instances. Vague textual descriptions were as good as it got in the past few years since Warrior came in as kit sponsor.

Which was why I had assumed that the horrific violet design in the original post was true, because it was too familiar that we'd get a semi-decent home kit and then gash, puzzling away and thirds.
