Should we be concerned now we have the special one, the ars one and the LvG one plying their trade in the PL next season?

He will be fun with the English press for sure. He usually asks why he is being asked such stupid questions and refuses to give answers.

Here is some classic TV from a Dutch footie show (it has English subtitles)

I think this could get fun.

Definitely. I'm just waiting for the first blow-up between him and Ginsoak. That I would pay to see. 😎

Interesting that Raf Honigstein clearly doesn't rate him. Honigstein seems a bright guy when I've heard him speak, and I'd generally be inclined to trust his judgment.

Is that for real?? Its truly awesome....

I hope its some kind of Joke because if I'd hate to have any kind of admiration for a United manager...WTF was that.... truly monumental TV behaviour.

EDIT... yeah... on second viewing its staged... funny in a very continental kind of way

Lol he's defo got a touch of the mourinho's about him (or the other way round). Which is gonna upset scores on here as mourinho does.

Still not worried. If they get top 4 next season it'll be in Arsenal's place.

Him and Rooney will be fireworks, especially when he give Van Persie the captaincy.

Why would you admire that display? There are times when media people need putting in their place, but that was just ridiculous.

He's well capable of doing that and worse though. This is a guy who told his senior players he had the balls to leave them out and then dropped his pants to prove it.

Putting Giggs' qualifications aside, it seems unwise to me appoint to the blue eye boy of a previous regime and one whom I think hasn't actually shied away from seeking the managerial post itself. Is Giggs someone whose loyalty Van Gaal can trust - someone whom he could consult and discuss sensitive issues with, e.g. issues pertaining to specific players and the club? I'm not sure. With Giggs' ambition and relationship with the veteran players and Ferguson, I'm certain it won't be an easy relationship.

By accepting this arrangement, I think Van Gaal has come out looking a bit desperate in wanting the job. I hope it all falls apart. Having a disruptive Van Persie as his own blue eye boy in the dressing room is definitely going to help in that process. I hope.

Is he a Cenobite?

He's hard to look at, that's for sure. There's ugly folks that you look at and it's obvious what the deal is, like Ribery. And then there's people like van gaal that nature has conspired against in a devilish way. Every line and angle of the face just 4 or 5 degrees askew so that no one feature or line looks wrong when taken in isolation, but when it's all combined the effect is devastating and you have a head that looks like it was drawn by an angry 7 year old who's had too much fanta.

You could imagine him at the Drones Club. Someone like Stilton Cheesewright. 'Now listen here, Wooster!'
