Ha!

It's only 20 miles from Amsterdam. The hotel is in Amsterdam. I plan on getting ruined in Amsterdam all day Friday. Any of you kids spent much time there? I used to go quite a bit and then last time ended up vowing I'd never go back to the dirty aids hole.

I think I may be too boring to get properly stuck in these days - but you never know. And blue mushrooms are so 90s now, it's all DMT and seeing god these days.

I think the last time I was there was 2003. I ended up completely off me mongers for about a week after I got home and messed up a family camping holiday with temporary insanity. Ah, them were the days.

I used to go there for raves and to pick up records, but the last time I'd stopped all that and it was just for a laugh / liverpool pre season, that went a bit too mad.

I have been and done the Stedelijk etc, but I've mostly been drawn into the vortex of wrong.

Realy wanted to go for this one, would have been by far my best chance to see a European game 🙁

Gerrard is apperantly staying home as a precaution, has been struggeling with some back pains.

Any team news?

Is it on tv?
[/quote]

This was posted on another site, but I can't vouch for its veracity:

Reina, Johnson, Carra, Skrtel, Kelly, Kuyt, Lucas, Poulsen, Jovanovic, Cole, Torres

However, I wouldn't put it past Budgie to play Crapsen and the Invisible Cunt together.

So against Northampton Roy "learnt" we needed Pucas in the middle.

This is going to a long, long season.

Dont worry. Roy has (again) identified draw as a good result in this game.

Nah - Cole, Jova, Kuyt, Torres.

There's no excuse not to win this one.

As I said, Roy thinks a draw is a good result.

good old roy, at least he's consistent.

It's fine in European games to draw your away matches and win your home games, because you'll sail through the group.

It's his Premiership away record which is the real concern. I'm not yet buying into the loser mentality posters seem to think he has. The Birmingham comments were ill-advised at best, but everything else has been nothing but pragmatism.

We still should win tonight though. We need victories.
