BUT this was not enough to send them out. THEN, the leaders of the group, "Mexico" lost to Honduras sending them through... then Panama beat Costa Rica with a last minute goal..

Perfect storm, as the US have fallen even lower since they ditched Klinnsmann.

Only one man can fix this team. He ALONE can fix it. I think we've found a solution to the national situation. Move this man to the Managerial role with the US team, and bring back cheerleaders as an incentive.

It's funny, they spend huge amounts of $'s on their junior development and the major league soccer and are given a piss-easy qualification process; Iceland with a population 1/1000th the size of the USA and a much tougher qualification process breeze though.

Regardless, USA only had to avoid losing to go on, so ultimately it's on their performance and not on the typically ridiculous CONCACAF officiating in other matches.
