isn't skrtel wearing orange in the first pic with spearing? am i selectively colourblind?

EDIT: nevermind the other ones wouldnt load at first, SAFE BLUDD

That Skrtel photo is with Sterling, not Spearing, so you could well be colour-blind.

Might be interesting to see where Luis plays, with him taking a more wide role last week allowing Borini to stay central. If he's on the right then things could be interesting against the TWAT.

-----------------Reina-------------------
Kelly------Skrtel---Agger---Johnson
-------Henderson---Allen--------------
---------------Shelvey------------------
Gerrard------Suarez------Sterling--

He may stick Shelvey where Henderson is, and play Sahin behind Suarez. But agree with Gerrard's possible position as the right of an attacking three. However, knowing Rodgers - I have a feeling he will stick with his usual formation and players which means Borini will play, and Shelvey will be on the bench. Therefore he may play Henderson where you have him or Sahin.

Can I just add that - even though the most of us probably thought Shelvey changed the game when coming on the other night - no doubt that Rogers probably thinks Borini made all the difference.

I don't think leaving him out of the game vs United is the right one to give him said kick up the arse though.

I agree on our lack of discipline but I also don't rate Hendo in that role either. I'd like to see:

-----------------Reina-----------------
Johnson--Skrtel--Agger--Enrique
----------------Allen--------------------
--------Shelvey--Gerrard------------
Suarez----------------------Sterling
----------------Borini------------------

Ditto.

Swap Sterling and Suarez over. I'd like to see Sterling running at Evra or that new LB of theirs as often as possible, whereas I'd like to see Suarez float around more freely.

Can't see the team being anything other than this:

--------- Reina ---------

Kelly --- Skrtel --- Agger --- Johnson

---- Gerrard --- Allen --- Shelvey

----- Suarez ---------------------- Sterling

------------ Borini--------------

Kinda stating the obvious but the first goal is crucial in this. It's clear United don't enjoy coming to Anfield, we usually get at them from the off and overpower them, lets hope for more of the same tomorrow.

Heard someone say a few days ago that we need much more Suarez, Gerrard and Borini in this game as all 3 had shockers vs Arsenal and look what happened there. yes they weren't the only culprits on the day but still, we rely on them from an attacking point of view and they'll need to produce the goods.

Going for a 2-1 win, Gerrard and Borini to score

I don't think I've ever had do little optimism before a scum match.

I'm usually like that before this fixture(most L'pool fixtures nowadays actually) but i always fancy us against the scum at Anfield.

There's still a seed of doubt there mind you.

I think unfortunately that Ferguson is just radiating background levels of cunt at present, the kind of careless emission of cunt that could happen as he puts his slippers on in the morning. Yes, it's measurable, and from a normal sort of person, it'd be remarkable, but not for him. Sadly, I don't think he is concerned about Liverpool in the slightest, as we aren't any threat whatsoever. And if our team requires a team talk to get motivated to win against anyone, let alone United, we'll be worrying about relegation and not the champions league.

Though the reality of the threat we pose won't change today regardless, and what he says is in all likelihood simply true, I would like to go back to the way it was even just a couple years ago, where his genuine hatred for us at all times was transparent. If we manage to find some magic today, he may just indulge us with a bit of the good old stuff.

indeed even his appeal to his reporters was hard to read, it really does suck not being a contender anymore and adjusting is painful. Trouble is we have no comeback at all.... unless we fuck them the fuck up today and then start fucking winning, i cant remember the last time we went on a good run.... i fucking hate mancs i really do... yeah i respect them and i hope it passes off well today but moee than that i really really really hope we give them a fucking battering today.

sadly im absolutely certain we are gonna get dicked.

I'm not certain we'll be dicked. It's got a draw written all over it imho.

The one I'm worried about is Van Persie
