Pete still has his work one, and I've just been given another one. But it's awkward
It's just a mate thing. My mate gave me the ticket. Our joint mate who is traveling with us is well more desperate to get in than me so I thought I'd give it to him, but my mate who gave me the ticket said, nah it's for you and you alone. So I feel shit on joint mate as I'd have given him it, he knows that I was on the lookout for one for him before me, but now I can't really say why he can't have the ticket without pointing at my other mate and saying he wants me to go and that's that. Silly I know. Pete is calling me a nobhead, but it's doing my head in. Anyways, I've just thought up a perfect white lie that sorts it all
@Sheik Yerbouti i agree it’s shit that fans that go week in week out year after year and often decade after decade will miss out.
But that’s just the way it works in every sport and ultimately people are self serving first.
If I got a ticket I’d be hard pushed to give it up outside of giving it to a handful of people on here.
Would be interesting to do what Australia does for the AFL grand final where a certain number of seats are kept for season ticket holders to queue up on the day(or before)
That's simply too high a figure (as you'd have to give the same amount to Spurs). What is a disgrace is the number of tickets allocated to UEFA's sponsors and cohorts. There should just be a proper allocation for the fans. It's a scandal that ST holders who've been to every CL home game should struggle for tickets.

There should be a minimum stadium capacity North of 80,000 for a final of this stature though.
So what's involved in getting a badge? I mean practical experience is surely part of it? I thought players had to be an understudy somewhere as part of their qualifications. Seems I was wrong. Most older players now get many of their badges whilst playing just in case they want to move into management or coaching. You only need a certain level to be a manager, you can then get the rest whilst working within a certain time frame, or at least that's what I think I read a while back.

I reckon Pep wants out
