Napoli will not sell him, besides he is 29 years old, lets move on. A loan deal has been mentioned as a quick fix, but it seems for whatever reason the club is not too keen on it. I know Barca are desperate to get players off their books and loan deals could easily be arranged with them.Let's sign Kalidou Koulibaly on loan from Napoli with the option to buy. What do they want £100m, and then in the summer window just like the Italian clubs would do offer some crazy price let's say £22m and they can take it of leave just like they do with us 😉
You haven't seen Ghost in the Shell then? besides, what you really want is a woman like Rebel Wilson, more cushion for that pushingCome on! She has a little bit of class.

[article]There is serious interest from Premier League clubs in Derby County's talented youngster Kaide Gordon, DerbyshireLive can confirm.
Reports have said the 16-year-old is being closely monitored by Manchester United and Liverpool, and that the player could leave this month for a seven-figure fee plus add-ons.
Gordon will only leave if the fee is right and Derby are believed to be thinking in multiple millions, it is understood.
Gordon, who is still at school, cannot sign a professional contract until this summer. If a club, or clubs want to come in for him then Derby would be due significant compensation whether he has signed a contract or not because they have developed the player from a young age.
An example of this was liam Delap, the son of former Rams, Southampton and Stoke City player Rory Delap.
Derby received compensation, but the amount of compensation for Gordon is likely to be far greater as he has already played for the first team. Delap did not make a first-team appearance for Derby.
Gordon, an attacking midfielder, made his senior debut as a substitute in the 4-0 victory over Birmingham City on December 29. In doing so, he became the fourth youngest player inthe club's history.
He was named academy player of the year last season and is a current England under-16 international.
News of firm interest in the Gordon comes as CEO Stephen Pearce responded to fears the club would have to sell its young talent as concerns grow about the short-term cash flow at the club.
Players are yet to be paid the remainder of their wages for December as they await a takeover deal to go through.
In an interview with BBC Radio Derby, Pearce said: "Not necessarily to keep going, but as a Championship club and as with our business model we have to trade.
"That is what you have to do in this market, but what we want to make sure is that whenever we trade it makes sense for us financially and it is in our plan, and that we are using it not to make a dent in the squad for the worse but we are doing it for reasons that were in our transfer strategy.
"If the right deals come along and for the right players that we plan to do that for, then we would trade but we would obviously make sure and try not to impact on the pitch and on the playing squad.
"It is a fact of life, Covid or no Covid, that as a club we have to generate assets to sell and that is our business plan on a normal daily basis."[/article]
Well, you, Alaba can Fuck Off.
I'd have him back. Great striker.
For those wages and what is probably a massive sign on fee, I’m not that bothered. Don’t think he would have been a good fit as a CB in the Premier League.
[article]The Telegraph report that Southampton are "prepared to make Ings the best-paid player in their history to commit to the next four years" and manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has encouraged the talisman to put pen to paper, describing the new deal as "fantastic".
Ings signed for Liverpool in 2015 but fortune abandoned the frontman almost as soon as Jurgen Klopp arrived on Merseyside in October that year.
At just 23 he had enjoyed a bright start to life at Anfield under Brendan Rodgers but just one week after the Northern Irish manager was replaced, the frontman ruptured his cruciate knee ligaments and was forced to sit on the sidelines for an extended spell.
More knee surgery was required in October the following year and by the time Ings had battled back to full fitness, Liverpool were a very different unit with the likes of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all well-established as a world-class attacking triumvirate while Daniel Sturridge remained in reserve.
There wasn't really room for anyone else in the Reds front line when Ings left in the summer of 2018, even though Sturridge would depart on loan to West Bromwich Albion midway through the following season, and so he headed for the Southampton looking to reignite his career and make up for lost time - which he most certainly did.
The report says that Ings has "always been convinced he could return to a Champions League club with an injury-free run" and he has been without any issues since the summer of 2017 with his goalscoring and form over the past two seasons propelling him back into the England squad.
"The player’s key consideration [over signing the contract at Southampton] is not financial but to give himself the best possible opportunity to play at the highest level again," it adds.
"The transfer market is in flux with the effects of Covid-19, although it is possible that the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and even his former club, Liverpool, might be in the market for a striker this summer."[/article]
Would you have said this if he had signed for us?
