We'll see, but I'm fairly thicker skinned. I'm not going to start abusing anyone and I hope I'm not going to get kicked out for friendly banter.

You'll need the thick skin as there are a few intolerant posters (as there are on RedCafe) but banter is good and if it's friendly (not that we are averse to kicking the shit out of one another on this forum) then you'll be welcomed by the majority.

Is this what we've become? I joined the most clannish, rabidly suspicious and perpetually angry LFC site on the net, not a women's institute knitting circle.

Can't we protect our resident MU fan? He clearly is smart enough not to like the company of his own kind. He seems to be so logical and level headed.

Getting back to the finish in top 4 prices, we dropped behind Man U and Arsenal when Suarez did his thing, and the ban was imposed. Before that, we were a shortr price than the other two, although we are still 4/5 fifth favourites in the market now. I suspect if we do manage to buy Lallana / Sanchez / Markovic, then we are quite likely to shorten back to 4/7.

Does anyone else think this is a damn exciting window ? For us it was always going to be even before the Suarez debacle but the way things are going for us (both transfers and links) Chelsea and the Mancs all very active but with City, Arsenal and Spurs virtually in stupor we could be in for a very exciting Top 5 race next season with Spurs taking up their new-found state of equilibrium behind Everton.

Or even on topic posting, seeing as they banned anyone from talking about suarez biting again when it happened.

The fucking lunatics.
I just went on there to have a look - You're right they've locked it the fucking plebs. While there though I noticed a blast from the past. Do you remember Timbo's Goals? I used to love that guy on koptalk. He had his own website where he uploaded all the LFC goals - A lifesaver while I was in uni. We should try and poach him over 😉

The Corriere dello Sport is claiming that Manchester United will sign Netherlands defender Stefan de Vrij from Feyenoord for £8million once the World Cup is concluded. The Italian newspaper says the 22-year-old centre-back was considering a switch to Lazio, but the lure of working with Louis van Gaal again will now take him to Old Trafford instead.

Argentinian midfielder Bruno Zuculini has had a medical at Manchester City ahead of his proposed move to the club.
The 21-year-old midfielder was photographed in Manchester on Friday morning and is thought to be close to a move to the Premier League champions from Racing Club of Buenos Aires.
He looks set to become Manuel Pellegrini's third signing of the summer following Fernando from Porto and Bacary Sagna from Arsenal.
Zuculini, whose older brother Franco is already an Argentina international, made his debut for Racing in 2010, aged 17, and has made nearly 100 appearances for the club.
It was widely reported in February that Racing had already had talks with City about a potential transfer for former Argentina U20 international Zuculini this summer at the end of his contract.

Athletic Bilbao have rejected an offer of around £28.85m from Manchester United for midfielder Ander Herrera.
Herrera was the lynchpin of Bilbao's midfield last season as they finished fourth in La Liga and was believed to have a £28m buy-out clause in his contract, which rises to £32m after July 1.
He scored five goals last season, but despite being one of the most impressive performers in domestic football, is yet to break into the Spain team.
An Athletic statement read: "Athletic want to announce that they have this week rejected an offer from Manchester United, of around 36m euros (£28.85million), for the transfer of the economic and federative rights of the player Ander Herrera."

.... HANG on

Get yourself an avatar fella. People will view you with a lot less suspicion if you do. Try and avoid one of Giggs or Rooney though. They aren't that popular on here. Maybe Moyes??? 😉

In fairness Giggs is one Manc who doesn't generally get too much of a kicking on here, 'coz he doesn't gob off and is always respectful when he talks about LFC. Might still be an idea not to have him in an avvy though.

How does he get a work permit then?

He does sound a bit Italian.
