Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has revealed his hopes of landingLiverpool forward Oussama Assaidi on a permanent basis have "gone cold".
He is one we have chased for a while now, but there hasn't been any real movement on that front, so we will just have to wait and see what the situation is with regards to that deal.

It’s been a much-talked about deal, but Arsene Wenger says there's no chance Arsenal will be signing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez is still keen on Chelsea winger Christian Atsu and admits wide players are a high priority.

Paris Saint-Germain have called time on their pursuit of Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria after being priced out of a deal.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi admitted the transfer would not happen, particularly given the club's situation with regards to Financial Fair Play.
He said: "We spoke to Real about Di Maria but he was too expensive."

If true, that's ridiculous.

With the wages they're paying Shaw and Rooney, they smack of desperation rather than ambition

Still don't think Vidal will happen but 180k per week seems reasonable for one of the top CM'S out there.

Plus we have cleared almost 500k off the wage bill with Rio, Vidic, Evra and Giggs, another 4 depatures will bring thE total wage bill down about 750k.

Aren't Shaw on 120k pw and Herrera 100k pw?

I doubt your wage bill will drop that much at all!

The dodgy knee issue doesnt sound good though.
Still think he'll stay at Juve.

FWIW my Juve-supporting (and occasional home game-attending) cousin and his family are staying with me at the moment and he reckons talk of Vidal leaving is bullsh!t.

Looks like the arse wanted to swap vermaelen with smalling at the scum, they refused, so now he's off to barca instead.
Vermaelen and smalling are both bollocks, I'm not sure what the attraction is. Ferguson didn't rate smalling and wenger doesn't rate vermaelen.
I hope this deal doesn't scupper our chances of getting shot of agger.

Hahaha, so we're signing inexperienced kids on loan deals for full-backs and now moving our attention to back-up GK rather than focussing on replacing the worlds best striker.

I really fucking hope not.

I should think we have the resources and mental space to focus on more than one thing at a time. Honestly, Squiggles.

Smalling?! What, why?

In the denial stage then 😉

Since their president has already come out and commented on his injury and on United's offer there is definitely a chance of this happening.

Oh God that would have been great !
