He will be excellent in Italy and probably think why he did not play in Italy sooner considering the slow pace at which football is played there.

Ironic that he wants to be reunited with the manager who has previously alienated and attempted to sell him to other clubs behind his back.

We're going to make a blockbuster signing, mark me.

Hope so but can't see it.

I think it will be Lovren (20m), Bony (20m), left back (let's say somewhere between 10m and 15m) and then a couple of prospect/squad filler types for about 5m-8m each.

That Xabi to Napoli story was believable until it said wants to be reunited with Rafa.

I highely doubt Xabi wants to leave Real.

Juventus are on the verge of signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to reports in Italy. Gazzetta dello Sport and Turin-based sports newspaper Tuttosport claim the Spain Under-21 international is set to join the Italian champions on a £17.5million transfer deal.

Hypocrite :

Following Yaya Toure’s public commitment to Man City earlier today, Sky Bet have ceased trading on whether or not he’ll leave the club this summer. However, betting is still open on his next club, with PSG rated 3/1, while Barcelona are 10/1

This seems damn good value !

Reports in Italy suggest that Netherlands defender Stefan De Vrijis edging closer to a move to Lazio. Feyenoord were initially reluctant to sell the 24-year-old centre-back -- having already lost Bruno Martins Indi, Daryl Janmaat and Graziano Pelle in this summer window -- but the Eredivisie side consider the Biancocelesti's eight million euro offer to be too good to refuse.

Talksport says that Roma have emerged as the latest contenders to sign Manchester United target Yevhen Konoplyanka. The Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger was on the verge of joining Liverpool in January while West Ham have already registered an interest in the summer transfer window. Konoplyanka, 24, has made 36 appearances for Ukraine, scoring eight goals.

A lot of ears on 6CM will prick up at this :

Argentina's World Cup left-back Marcos Rojo has revealed that he is in no rush to make a decision over his future. The 24-year-old's impressive performances in Brazil caught the eye of suitors from around Europe with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all linked. The Express say that it would take a bid in the region of 12 million pounds to prise him away from Sporting Lisbon.
"We still do not know what my future will be," he told an Argentine radio station. "For now I intend to return to Sporting on the 30th [of July], and then we'll see."

Juventus have emerged as the favourites to sign wantaway Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku after the Blues admitted they do not want to sell him to a Premier League rival. The Daily Star says that Chelsea have turned down a 19 million pound bid from Liverpool for the Belgium international while Everton manager Roberto Martinez is reluctant to splash all of his transfer kitty on one player.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has named his 25-man squad for the club's pre-season tour of USA. New signings Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera are part of the travelling party but there is no space for Anderson, Bebe, Patrice Evra and Javier Hernandez.

Could Roma be on the verge of another big signing? Fresh from landing Argentine winger Juan Iturbe, Il Tempo reports that the Giallorossi are now exploring a deal for wantaway Bayern Munich star Xherdan Shaqiri. The Switzerland playmaker is desperate for regular first team football and is believed to be open to the prospect of joining Rudi Garcia's exciting project.

However, the dilemma for Roma is that they must first raise more funds and Adem Ljajic could be the man to be sacrificed, with Schalke interested in the former Fiorentina forward. An alternative for Roma is to include Mehdi Benatiain a swap deal but Garcia is reluctant to allow the Moroccan defender to leave.

Arsenal are reportedly still in the market for another full-back. French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi says the Gunners have made a bid to take Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo on loan, with Marseille and Liverpool also interested in the 20-year-old
