Transfer rumours

The owners would keel over and die if we was to put in a £150 bid for M'bappe let alone what it would really cost us...
Like both Ziyech and Havertz, not sold on Sancho. But my preference would be to sign both Minamino and Haaland from Salzburg.
Two great young players and signing Minamino would help sign Haaland as it would help both to settle in, and they would not feel so isolated...
Would also cost way less than M'bappe
Halland isn't gonna happen, he's got that fat Italian cunt as his agent.

Klopp on Sancho rumours:
“If we would be involved, nobody would know about it apart from a person who wouldn’t speak about it. There’s nothing to say. I know how it sounds, but I cannot change that. There’s nothing to say about it, which can mean there’s absolutely nothing to say about it.”

Looks like we're interested...

He could start a website with similarly revealing insights and charge people for membership.

Which would mean that the person "who wouldn't speak about it" has in fact spoken about it.... the plot thickens!

[article]Liverpool sent a scout to watch Dejan Kulusevski on Sunday, according to FC Inter News, while Manchester United have made a £21.5 million bid for the coveted Parma loanee.

With three goals and five assists to his name already, Kulusevski has been arguably the breakout star in Serie A this season with his Rolls Royce performances intriguing clubs all over Europe.

A tall and rangy playmaker with an eye for a defence-splitting pass, the newly-capped Sweden international has been linked with Arsenal, Wolves and Southampton in the last few weeks with Liverpool the latest club to be added to a substantial list of suitors.

FC Inter News reported that the Premier League leaders were watching Kulusevski during Parma’s narrow 1-0 defeat to AC Milan last weekend, while North West rivals Manchester United have put £21.5 million on the table.

The 19-year-old’s parent club, Champions League-bothering Atalanta, want closer to £30 million for a player who has earned comparisons to Manchester City talisman Kevin de Bruyne for his dynamic style and ability to carve apart an opposition backline with one flick of his boot (Gazzetta dello Sport).

If there is one weakness in Jurgen Klopp’s star-studded squad, it is perhaps a lack of real cutting edge in a rather workmanlike midfield three.

Kulusevski, then, would give Liverpool something a little different in the centre of the park.[/article]

I don't see De Bruyne, more like a cross between Eriksen and Yarmolenko. A winger-playmaker. Would actually make sense for United if they are serious about slowly building with youth.

Rolls Royce performance?

Chelsea can sign players in January after having their Fifa transfer ban reduced following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The Premier League side were given a two-window ban by Fifa in February for breaching rules on signing young players.
Cas halved the ban to one window, which was served during the summer.
It also reduced the fine for the London club from 600,000 to 300,000 Swiss francs (£230,000).
Chelsea play Everton on Saturday (12:30 GMT) and manager Frank Lampard said talk of transfers at the club was now "a discussion we can take up".
"It's a positive outcome for us," he said. "It allows us the potential to look at the market going forward.
"So I'm pleased from a footballing level. It was never my business to get involved in the reasons why or the legal side of it."
Chelsea were given a transfer ban after 150 rule breaches involving 69 academy players over several seasons, according to the judgement published by Fifa.
Cas found that the Blues "did violate" rules "related to the international transfer of minors" and "to the first registration of minors" but "for a significantly smaller number of players" amounting to "about a third of the violations found by Fifa".
The Cas verdict added: "In addition, the violations of other RSTP (Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players) rules were found to be less serious than those attributed to Chelsea by Fifa."
Details of the case which was recently published on a Fifa legal website showed Chelsea claimed many academy players were only triallists and did not play in organised matches.
Chelsea lodged an appeal to Cas against the Fifa punishment, which was also prompted by an investigation into the Premier League club's signing of foreign under-18 players.
Fifa bans the transfer of under-18s to different countries unless the moves meet strict criteria, such as the parents moving to the country for non-footballing reasons.
The rules were introduced to help protect children from exploitation and trafficking.
Analysis

BBC Sport's Simon Stone
Chelsea will be gratified at the conclusion that their transgressions were nowhere near as severe as they originally seemed.
Clearly, Frank Lampard has most reason to celebrate.
It would be wrong to say he hasn't had any new players. Christian Pulisic might have been signed from Borussia Dortmund in January but he only joined the Blues in the summer. In addition, Chelsea officials took advantage of a clause in Mateo Kovacic's loan from Real Madrid to turn that in a permanent deal.
But now he can make the additions he wants.
The question is, after doing far better than most outsiders expected, and with his side looking good for a top-four spot, will Lampard risk disrupting the squad dynamic by signing players next month?

Exactly what I thought. Well maybe not Eriksen but I thought he looked too slow to play on the wing for us and he's always falling down for some reason. I'm a bit skeptical about this one to be honest. Need to see more.

[article]Liverpool have reportedly made contact with young Brazilian striker Evanilson.

The Fluminese striker was the top scorer in Brazil's under-20 league last season, and had a short loan spell at Slovakian club Samorin, where he scored three goals in six appearances.

His goalscoring form has alerted Liverpool, who have been monitoring Evanilson and have made contact with his representatives, according to Brazilian outlet Netflu .

The 20-year-old's contract expires in February 2020, so Fluminese could be prepared to sell for around £4million rather than lose him for nothing next year.

Brazilian football journalist Robbie Blakely told Football Whispers : "Fluminense are cash-strapped so even if a bid was something like £4million, a relative pittance for a Premier League club, that converts into roughly 21 million reais, a fortune for the club in their current predicament.

"Brazilian teams love selling to the Premier League, and China, but not just because of the money on offer. The exposure they receive benefits them in the long run."

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said the Reds will sign a striker in the January transfer window if Rhian Brewster goes out on loan.

Aston Villa and Swansea are reported to be interested in Brewster - but a loan move for the 19-year-old striker would leave a gap in Liverpool's squad.

And asked if he would sign more attacking cover in such an event, Klopp told the Liverpool Echo : "Yes, we have to see. We can't just give the boys [away] on loan because we have built this squad.[/article]

Let him marry some European slag for another citizenship.
Haha a very good friend of mine (Turkish) married a huge Surinamese dominatrix in Amsterdam to secure his EU visa. So funny whenever he met her - he never took her up on the freebies she offered.

[article]Real Madrid must make €200m in player sales to balance their books for the financial year, according to a report in Marca.

The club invested heavily in new signings over the summer with a total transfer bill of approximately €350m to bring in new talent such as Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes and Ferland Mendy.

The club were also busy in their player departures over those months, with Marcos Llorente, Keylor Navas, Raul De Tomás, Mateo Kovacic and Theo Hernandez among those to leave on permanent deals.

However, the club spent a lot more than what they received and the report states that they are now worried about possible punishments from La Liga or UEFA unless they generate more funds.

Two players who were heavily linked with departures over the summer but who ended up staying are James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, two players who command big wage packets.

It is said that those two could be among those who the club pursue exits for while Mariano Diaz and Brahim Diaz are also fringe players who could generate funds.[/article]

Manchester City are interested in a January deal for Bournemouth's Nathan Ake - despite a contract clause seemingly putting Chelsea in pole position to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
The West London club inserted a £40m buy-back clause into the centre-back's £20m deal to Bournemouth in 2017, and they are now understood to want Ake back after their FIFA transfer ban was lifted.
Manager Pep Guardiola recently insisted they "cannot" sign anyone due to the difficulties of the winter window, and that he "does not want" anyone either, having adapted Fernandinho to centre-back.
But the Spaniard also conceded that "when an incredible opportunity comes in January for the next four or five or six years, maybe we can think about it".

Hope we have similar buy back clauses for Solanke and Ibe as the squad is being pushed from edge to edge nowadays.

[article]Genk suffered defeat against Liverpool twice in the Champions League this season and Sander Berge played the full 90 minutes in those two matches.

Following the Jupiler Pro League side’s 2-1 defeat at Anfield in November, VG in Norway reported Jürgen Klopp told the midfielder he’s a ‘very interesting player’.

A week later, Genk sporting director Dimitri De Condé claimed the Reds are following the Norway international ‘carefully’.

Napoli host the Belgian side in the final group stage tie and RTBF journalist Pascal Scimè told Kiss Kiss Napoli about the Merseyside club’s interest in the Genk star.

“Liverpool want him. In January he can go. First offer of €15m was refused. Napoli? He is a player who would fit more in the Premier League than in Serie A,” Scimè was quoted as saying by CalcioNapoli24.

Scimè’s comments don’t make it clear whether the €15m offer was made by Liverpool or Napoli.

Meanwhile, De Condé admitted Genk won’t block Berge from leaving the club in January, if he insists on a move.

“Berge? We are all aware of the fact that he is the most important player in Genk, but he is generally the most important talent in Belgian football,” De Condé told Si Gonfia la Rete, as relayed by CalcioNapoli24.

“We will not do anything to clip his wings and if he wants to go, it is right to satisfy his ambitions. Many clubs, including Napoli, are interested in him. We’ll see how the market evolves.

“Berge is a defensive midfielder who occupies, for instance, the position of Jorginho in the field, but he has different characteristics from Jorginho. He is better at sitting in front of the defence.”

De Condé’s comments should come as encouragement for Liverpool, if they are keen on acquiring Berge’s services next month. [/article]
