Don't understand so many of you on days like these...
We all KNOW that we've got just about a bag of soggy chips and a used rubber johnny to spend on players every transfer window, yet the moaning a) about the quality of player we're sniffing around (dispite the fact that many are better than the incumbent) as a result of having bugger all to spend, or b) the fact that Roy didn't overspend on players he didn't deem better than what we already have is incessent.
Was today really a surprise to anybody? Or the fact that, with approx 10m to spend, it was Cole we were looking at, not some superstar?
