Mikael Forsell 31 ?
just can't see it mate. I wish I could say otherwise but with no one to score goals, I think keeping our heads above water is the best we can hope for.Not challenging for 4th 😱
You're gonna be pleasantly surprised then 😉just can't see it mate. I wish I could say otherwise but with no one to score goals, I think keeping our heads above water is the best we can hope for.
So you reckon we'll be relegated?People are living in cloud cuckoo land. We played well against City but have struggled against West Brom and Hearts. Nothing will change. Raise the game against the big boys yet struggle against the dross. This time with an even more blunted attack than last season. No, we will be alright. Keep saying it and you might end up believing it.
It's 'more blunted' because all the strikers we've released haven't been replaced. You know the strikers that contributed little to the goal tally but that's a small irrelevant matter for the SOS member. He's got fire in his belly doncha know. Why on earth would you chose to base your judgement of the future on a.game where we had two penalties against us and a sending off, and a game where we put out a weak side?
As for our attack being 'more blunted', I don't see it that way at all.
16 goals - that's what Carroll (4),Maxi (4), Bellamy (6) & Kuyt (2) combined delivered in the league last season.
That's what Borini, Assaidi & sterling have to achieve between them.
Eh?? I thought the idea was to score more than last time. So now the target is to do as badly as last time?

New players, new system, new training techniques, new manager, new staff. It's work in progress at the moment and elements of the old style are still there. It'll be ironed out. What are you basing goals are suddenly going to flow on?

Write out your first eleven, is Carroll or Dempsey going to make it on the team? Or are they going to be on the bench or even not selected. Then ask the question why are you so angry that we didn't get a back-up striker?
No. Rodgers is. And he's basing it on knowing Borini, his plan to how the team will play and what he wants to achieve.I've no problem with Carroll going. I've got a problem with not getting a top notch striker to improve on the woeful goal return from last season. Is Borini suddenly Ian Rush incarnate or is he someone who hasn't proved himself at the highest level yet? You're basing this sudden goal glut on hope rather than cold hard fact.
No. Rodgers is. And he's basing it on knowing Borini, his plan to how the team will play and what he wants to achieve.
Once again I'm basing nothing on hope.I trust Rodgers but whatever way you look at it, based on his stats, Borini is hardly a remarkable player. As I say you're basing it on hope.
For those of you not yet completely depressed...

That's a good article that tbh.
Well everything in life is based on hope, is it not?I trust Rodgers but whatever way you look at it, based on his stats, Borini is hardly a remarkable player. As I say you're basing it on hope.
It really seems all you want to do is rant, rant and rant some more. Then follow it up with a healthy does of how shit Liverpool are? Begs the question, do you actually support the team?
You really come across as quite the supporter.Been going the game for 20 years, home and away, domestic and Europe. Missed about 3 games. You? I support the team through thick and thin. So because I question the owners I'm not a supporter? How much do you invest supporting Liverpool?

I invest what I can afford.Been going the game for 20 years, home and away, domestic and Europe. Missed about 3 games. You? I support the team through thick and thin. So because I question the owners I'm not a supporter? How much do you invest supporting Liverpool?
