J_Enrique3 José Enrique
transfer day. Big move still to happen I think :-]
Yeah, Sneijder to The Scum.

Its just weird to be here almost expecting us to sign someone exciting on the last day in the knowledge that i wont be dissapointed if we dont!

To get rid of

Aquilani
Cole
Jova
Insua
Ngog
Kuntchesky
Poulsen

is just awesome

to buy in

Carrol
Suarez
Adam
Henderson
Enrique
Downing
Coates

Well... what can you say....It really has gone so much better than most of us would have allowed ourselves to dream.

If you were to award a mark from 1 to 10 youd have to say at worst a 9/10.... 10 would have been for a marquee signing to boot, but complaining would miss the point totally.

It is fucking even more great to be a Liverpool fan right now. God bless FSG!

Ben Smith
Craig Bellamy remains a very strong possibility for #LFC. Stoke, #THFC and #QPR also interested.

Here here! It's really great to see improvements to the squad, after years of treading water or going backwards.
Agreed.

For years now we have had unwanted players hanging around in the background who we can't shift. Who are we likely to have left after this transfer window? Only Degen really, and he's something like our fifth or sixth choice right back with only a year left on his contract. Its not bad going!

£50m or so net spend, that's quite some investment from FSG's own pockets, probably around £30m or so; just the shot in the arm i thought they'd be willing to provide in order to make a quick return to the CL. fingers crossed it works, because once we're there i think we can push on and win the title fairly quickly.

Yossi coming back to Liverpool is all over the websites in Israel.
Hope they're wrong. I don't want him back - his time at Anfield is over.

They're saying it's a one year loan deal and his wages will not be impacted. Hinting it's part of a Meireles deal.

There is zero evidence anything camefrom FSG pockets, and Henrys recent comments kinda hint that nothing will.

yep, just the regular £50m net spend, no doubt funded by uninterrupted CL revenues and an extremely modest wage bill.

Is there evidence that it came from elsewhere and if so where?

BELLAMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we shouldn't have fucking sold him in the first place.
He twatted a teammate with a golf club so he should have been shown the door.

He's a nice option to have though so hopefully he does a good job on the pitch and behaves off it as well.

of course there isn't. virtually no chance the club's generating the money given lack of CL football and historic profitability, anything else is an injection of equity/debt.

Our dealings under NESV, Kenny and Commoli are ballsy.

I much prefer us as a club these days
Yep. They deserve as much credit for getting rid of the utter dross on ridiculous wages as they do for bringing players in.

Well fucking played guys.
No credit for Henry ? Magic owner to date.
