The most outrageous thing that program had to offer was the sight of Leon Knight trying to look cool doing kick ups.

I've watched ten minutes of this programme. It's the worst TV I've ever seen. And I've watched the X Factor and Big Brother before

Is that really true?

Yes it was hyping things up but is no one in the least bit bothered by the way that football seems to be covering potential drug abuse by the players? The FA, as usual, went "no comment" which leads us to follow our own conclusions.

The issue is, the clubs seem to do what they want, the FA let them which frankly is different from most other sports. If a footballer tests positive for drugs, recreational or otherwise, why is this not made public?

Player "B" looked like Ashley Cole to me.

I've no idea who player "A" was, i can't think of anyone in the England squad with that type of haircut.

The indication was that Player "B"was black definitely. I hoped the England striker was the welsh midget but he wouldn't have had such a scruffy haircut. Wouldn't have been in keeping with his brochure image.

In my opinion drug testing of sports men and women should be solely to identify performance-enhancing substances. If the testers discover recreational drugs such as cocaine, it is none of their business and they ought to keep it to themselves. Control of the use of illegal drugs is the responsibility of the State not sports administration bodies. >🙁

Agree with this. Especially when it involves young players. A 16 year old smokes a spliff, so we humiliate him in public and ruin his career. Great. It is only in football they test for recreational drugs as well. Silly.

Agree, but would add that such conduct may well be in breach of the player's contract, so I don't object to clubs getting rid on these grounds.

Coke can be useful in helping to keep weight off, which can enhance performance. Much like Ephedrine.

;D ;D ;D

I have no idea what I am talking about (that never stopped me voicing an opinion) but I suspect that even if coke helps you lose weight, it would have adverse effects on athletic performance which would far outweigh that advantage. 🙂

Although it might make you think it improved performance

That quoting debacle up there has me wondering what Mr. Portly is on.

I knew Gaga would take him down some dark corridor.

Vlad ! An intervention is required, I think.

It would only be nicotine or caffeine, or probably a heavy misuse of the two Themn

Sorry about the technical glitch. It was just a bit late in the day. I have put it right now.

;D

Whilst cocaine may lead to some weight loss, or help keep weight down, the effects would most definitely be detrimental to sports & overall fitness, especially when used regularly or in enough quantity to get weight loss or help maintain weight.

You can rule out taking cocaine.
