“I celebrated a lot in the dressing room afterwards. It was a big victory for me and my team. I am a professional though, I love this stadium and the fans, and who knows — in the future I could come back as coach of another English club.â€
- Mourinho

No doubt that last bit will send some hearts racing.

The mere thought makes my teeth itch.

He's 10 times the candidate of anyone else linked with us.

I haven't answered it anywhere else mate, cos I've no idea.

Mourinho's obviously a fantastic manager, but I fucking hate him. on a par with Brendan and Lucas really.

As for next Manager, well I haven't really countenanced it much, cos I don't want Rafa to leave or be sacked, and I don't think he will either.
Even if we end up 7th? Which currently its looking like.

He gets his teams playing really fantastic attacking football you know, plays players in the right position (arguably one of the worlds best strikers Eto'o right wing) and Zanetti left back and plays two yes TWO defensive midfielders 🙂
He plays the same formations and tactics as Rafa.

If anything, he's even more defensive than our man.
I agree i was just bein sarcastic, as you say Rafa plays more attacking football than him
Difference being for the most part Jose gets 100% out of whatever team he plays.

Rafa doesn't unless its a big game or our confidence is high.

That alone makes Jose's a much better coach that Rafa.

All true, although he make a final this year with Inter.

He's done what we never have in Europe. Beaten Chelsea away from home.

He won the CL with Porto, and has won the league wherever he has gone straight away.
Money or not.
Your also forgetting that with Chelsea he got dumped out by the winners 2 years on the bounce, hardly a hanging offence.

And I think he would give it as good a go as anyone out there if he was here.

Personal hatred aside we should be stoked if we got someone like him.

To be honest Pat he's a very good manager, just don't think he's meant for us, I think he would struggle to be a huge sucsess at us, as we don't seem to have the money to spend and take the club forward

Jesus Dreamy that's weak. We've knocked Mourinho's Chelsea out of the CL twice under Rafa. What does it matter what ground it was on?

True enough although it does say alot that they dumped us out when the 2nd leg was at Stamdford Bridge twice as well.

I think the teams were so close that 2nd leg home advantage was the difference.

Anyway the overall jist is that Jose is up there with the very best in the world and if Rafa goes we should be happy to have him, whether he's a grade A cNut or not.

the truth is jose essentially plays the same type of football as rafa with similar tactics as well the main difference will be initial boost of a new manager (for as long as that lasts) and the fact jose is a better motivator of player.

i hate to say this, i really do, but i'd be very excited if we appointed jose. he's the only candidate that wouldn't make me feel uneasy.

Should that be "Venga Barca" by the way?

Ahhh boo, Xavi is immense. Ibrahimovic, not so much. They should still sweep Stuttgart aside, though.

Is Hleb ineligible?

who's plain tonight?
I think Bordeaux Vs Olympiakos is the other game.

Don't teams scout Messi before they play Barca? When was the last time you saw him go on the outside of his man and whip in a right footed cross? Don't worry I'll wait.

Show him inside on his left foot and you may as well be gifting him a goal.
