Sooo, Everton. Here's who they were missing tonight:

Biliyaletidinov
Pienaar
Jagielka
Arteta
Anichebe
Neville
Vaughan
Osman

For a squad so short on quality, that's a shocking amount of good players to have to try and win games with. The best player on their bench was Tony fuckign Hibbert (Jo's balls).

That's two years in a row they've had monumentally bad luck with injuries, and it's starting to tell. 6 goals they've conceded in two games, 3 of them to fucking Hull. they're getting humped by ordinary sides in Europe, and are sitting 14th in the League. They've been slow starters in the League and Europe most years, but this is a long way to come back from. City, Spurs, and probably Villa have now overtaken them. What's their realstic ambition now - Top 8?

Everton have some very very good players. They've got a very strong first 11 and 3 or 4 quality subs. But as you say, awful problems with injuries.
