Mahrez would be worth looking at in the summer if Leicester goes down

It seems Demarai Gray is someone that many big clubs (including us) are looking at as well. Strange he was bought relatively cheaply and after starting 6 or so BPL games is suddenly hot property.

No, that's in the past.

They lost that right when they could no longer retain their title back in November.

Well, I suppose it's fine to acknowledge they won't be Champions this season - or indeed ever again unless an Arab buys them - but they are still the current Champions, despite the disastrous results in the league so far

It's very weird but it's still fact

Nobody thought they'd win it this season, or indeed even challenge perhaps, but to be hovering a point above the relegation zone is quite shocking, even if the superlative Kante is no longer their player

It would be quite funny if they got relegated admittedly

I can't stop watching that Johnny Howson goal.

Beats Giroud's flick for me for goal of the season. The technique required to do that is insane.

An old mate of mine reckoned you could call yourselves champions (or holders for a cup) up until the time it is mathematically impossible to win the league (or get knocked out of a cup competition). Leicester can theoretically still get top 60 points, which is what Chelsea are on now ... so they are still champions, by that reckoning 🙂

Edit - just realised that if you win the Championship then you woudl immediately lose the right to call yourselves champions of that division, as it is impossible to defend the title.
Ade - you are a tit with your ill thought out rules!!!

You are champions until the next champion is crowned

Gabriel Jesus appaz out for 2-3 months with a metatarsal injury, went off injured early vs Bournemouth yesterday

Suso ... pity we let him go ... always thought he'd be a solid player.
I never quite understood myself why we weren't more excited with him within our ranks, why we didn't give him more time to develop and improve him ourselves.

Almost certain he would've played more under a Klopp-type of manager at least. Defo one of the best younger players we've bought over the last decade or so, shame we let him go.

So they lose Jesus and bring in Ageuro.

We lose Mane and bring in Origi.

And people wonder why we struggled.

PSG tearing Barca a new one

That's gotta be the end for Wenger, total spineless collapse in the 2nd half leaving them all but knocked out. They won't push him before the end of the season but he's been treading water for a decade now. The revival is never going to happen. Sanchez will most likely go. Without major investment their position as top 4 stalwarts will be a thing of the past.

If Arsenal win FA cup again this season and get top 4 he will stay on imo.

The fans will see it as another good season and he will stay based on the fans opinions of him.

Top 4 every year to get twatted in the first knock out phase. I mean, is that really what footy's about or what the fans want? Call me a fogey but I'd rather win the League Cup.

They did win the fa cup last year and year before....

Like Roy Keane said...you cant really criticise them for this, they get drawn to bigger sides everytime and theyre simply not good enough to compete.
