To add a bit of interest to today's TV games, I put a £10 double on Burnley to draw with Chelsea at 7/2 and Swansea to beat Leicester at 7/5.

Were Newcastle really 13 points ahead of us 1 stage?

Everton weren't much better were they, 34 goals scored. level with bottom of table Wolves.

Our defence was actually better then as well....jesus me.
 
Perhaps I might be a cunt, but I wish bad things upon Burnley for failing to win today, completely failing to injure Kante, not even attempting to injure him, and then to rub it in they appear to have got Luiz injured instead.

We had 6 points less after 34 games that season then we have now after 25 games, and scored nearly 20 goals more.
Fuck cares about the defence from 2012.
 
It's doesn't matter. Most of your important memories will be of each successive season from the mid 90's to mid 00's, and you'll barely remember anything about 2012. Or 2014. Or 2011.
 
Ok - this changes nothing regarding the title - just cannot bring myself to see any hope plus Chelsea may have been encouraged to play at a less intense level as Spurs dropped points yesterday. But regarding Leicester - I want them to win - otherwise they will be extra ready in the next game for us knowing they have to win. With us - I cannot tell - but in theory with NO OTHER COMMITMENTS - we should go and win, but then again it is us so it is always 60-40 in favour of the opposition team.
 
Mahrez would be worth looking at in the summer if Leicester goes down

It would be a great story though would it not - and especially if they somehow win the CL !!! - the stuff of dreams are made of. Just imagine next season a Championship team from England in the CL as holders. I am jizzing at the thought !!!
