Torres set clear - great pass to Analka to cut out the keeper but the shot is cleared by a covering defender.

Anelka-Torres in a 4-4-2 ?
Anelka slips Torres in, who finally scores. Good finish in the end.

Form and class and all that

None of us expected it to last forever.
I wouldn't mind if it takes him 13 more for his next goal, but I don't really give a fuck. I only care about the players who score for us.

70th minute and Anelka comes on while Torres is stuck to the bench. Its becoming a massive ordeal.

Nice one.

Now he's got an assist (which he didn't mean)
Quick, somebody start a thread about this, because we're not obsessed, are we ?

It's just news.

Roy done us a huge favour today.
Not as big as the one he did the day he left.
I don't have the figures to examine but I reckon he's garnered more points at WBA than he did with us - which is just staggering.

Not really, still some way to go.

Liverpool, 20 league games: 7 wins, 4 draws, 9 defeats = 25 points from 60 (41.7%)
West Brom, 8 league games: 3 wins, 4 draws, 1 defeat = 13 points from 24 (54.2%); 2 of those wins were away from home.

Still, doing much better at WBA than with us.

bolton 1-0 bottlers
Started watching after the goal. 9 minutes of tipity-tipity-tap-tap-tipity-tap-shot-post!-tipity-tap-tap-tipity-tap-tap-tipity-beep-half-time.

Incredibly lacking in urgency, like they think they already have the title already sewn up.
