Caught up on MOTD last night and holy shit what a midfield and strike force City had out

Navas--------toure-----fernandinho----nasri

-------------------Augerro---------------------

---------------------negredo------------------

I know its early days but that is awesome

We had

Lucas
Moses
Hendo
Sterling
Gerrard
Suarez

Not much difference then.

City for the title me thinks.

Not taking into consideration Silva and Jovetic out on injury and Dzeko on the bench.

Looking to be some fight for 1st between them and Arsenal. Truth to be told, I am just very glad United seemingly won't be involved.

When you've got billionaire owners that dont mind spending 100mill every summer, paying players 200-300k a week, and couldn't care less about financial fair play, this is what you get.
It will turn out league into a Spain/Scotland scenario for City and Chelski. All the other teams will soon start panicking about FFP and those two will grow stronger and stronger.

I still haven't decided if Arsenal can maintain this current form.

Everton may be a dark horse to get into the top 4 ... Defloeu is finally ready, and with Barkley, Lukaku and Pienaar - they have a very good attacking unit.

In fairness, City have had their billionaire owners for 5 and a half years, and have only one league title in that time. Chelsea have only one league in the past 7 under Roman. We're a long way from it being like Scotland.

City will win the league by 6 points or more imo. Only a matter of time before the sort their away form out..prob starting at West Brom tomorrow night.

I can't see past Chelski or City winning it every year now moving forwards, now that the other teams are trying to implement FFP and they don't have to.
Maybe the scum could have a go (with a different manager), purely on their massive revenue stream, but arsenals spending wont last, nor will spurs. And I'm not sure how we'd compete spending 30mill a year when they'll be spending 100+.

It looks like those two will become the Barca/Real or Celtic/Rangers, and the rest of us will be fighting over the scraps.

As long as we finish 3rd every year 😉

I remember starting a thread many years ago on here when Sven took over at City

It asked will City win PL before us. Most laughed and said no way.

Shame.

There's only one rich team in Scotland. Who's the other one everyone keeps thinking of?
