Amen, brother. Trouble is that most of those responsible probably weren't around in Shanks' time, so haven't got a frikkin clue about the man who said it or how he meant it, and can't be fagged to find out - though they'd probably ignore those things even if they did, out of sheer laziness or sensationalism, or both.
