Only kidding, I admit "fault" should of been "choice" but thats how I remember the TV show. I never suiggested that saying I had a gay mate was like saying I cannot be racist because I have a black mate, that was other folks comparisum.

Everyone went over that on that Brendan thread a few months ago - and opinions were laid out rather honestly by most (I think it's even the reason why Ali basically stopped posting). Oh well - people here are not always honest but what do you expect ...

Your choice of words was very poor though - when discussing a serious subject on a sensitive matter, better terminology is needed.

choice of words maybe, this is an internet forum not "Tricia", its a faceless debate so you should be able to be honest, fucks sake no one criticises Brendan's language and amazing abuse to lots of folk on here so why criticise terminology of words around correctness.

People contribute to internet forums to talk about things they could not really talk about in public, I am sure wimp boy Brendan does not call folk thick cunts to their face does he.

This place is harder on folk than the BBC, Geoff Boycott on radio 5 the other day was talking about black cricketers that have joined his beloved Yorkshire and he referred to them as "coloured" 5 or 6 times in the interview, no one said a thing, on here you would be destroyed.

Its because the forum is made up of middle class office workers rather than working class footy fans 8)

Anyway, who cares, I am angry thats all I really wanted to debate the science of this and failed miserably once again on here due to folk picking up on terminology - that is fucking annoying and you are one of the worst culprits for doing that rather than debating the ACTUAL subject matter

Bloody hell. Fox is really on a roll on this one. Homosexuality, class, oh and of course the usual 'look at me, look at me' comment about Brendan. I dread to think what this thread could become.

As for the original topic though, I didn't see the programme and I doubt I will bother. Some people are straight, some people are gay. I don't personally see the need for analysing why. It doesn't really matter. And no, I don't go out of my way to be PC and don't consider myself to be PC at all, its just that someone's sexual orientation is of no concern of mine.
 
I guess that none of you watched the same said programme. I did and sadly Foxy's choice of words indicates that he has some kind of issues with the subject.

John Barrowman in the programme looked for a "reason" for him being guy, he looked at several "reasons" why he may be homosexual. He looked into DNA to see if there was a genetic marker that determined that he was gay.
He looked into any action that is parents may have taken when he grew up that determined that he would be gay.
He looked into whether or not there was a family dynamic affected him being gay, e.g an older brother thing.
He also looked into any situation that happen in the womb that might affect his being gay.

John Barrowman was not looking for fault at all that was poor choice of words foxy, he was looking for reasoning, he seemed a very comfortable with his sexuality kind of guy, but yet he searched for reasoning no blame.

i think this summation by delinquent pretty much sums you up fox, now if you could go out and educate yourself that there is no fault or blame involved in homosexuality determination or even choice you would be a fair better individual for it. I would also suggest a lesson in not over-reacting with every poster on here after your little tet a tet with brendan, resentment and anger are not good emotions to have working up inside of you

I think it's a nature thing rather than a nurture, unlike being camp (which I'm guessing what Fox, bless him, means by 'openly gay') which I believe is a nurture thing.

Btw Fox, sometimes you might actually think to listen to what people are saying, maybe try and understand what they're getting at, digest the implications of that and then ask yourself if they've got a point.

Your posting style sometimes reminds me of a 97 year old granny trying to drive round Milton Keynes - completely oblivious and all over the place
