We could do with spurs beating Utd in a couple of weeks.
They play the scum in a fortnight and so I very much hope they don't lose all 4
That was a pretty good set of results.
The two stand-out teams in the league won easily, but we were never going to get near Chelsea or Spurs; they're too good.
But with Arsenal losing, and dropped points for the Manc teams, we have a great opportunity to make up for the Palace debacle and put a bit of distance between us and the other also-rans
Let's not fuck it up again.
That said, I wasn't encouraged by Klopp and Lucas talking about 'every game being a final' given that Klopp's lost every final he's managed for Liverpool and most of them in Germany too, and Lucas has won only one League Cup in a decade at Liverpool

You'd hope so. They're safe and have nothing to play for. We are 50:50 for CL football next season.
Any player leaving us in the summer because Liverpool are out of the UCL can go fuck themselves
Great results for us but sadly i have no hope in this team of ours with the players currently fit to do what is required to get CL. I am mentally prepared for 5th regardless.

After United denting their chances of getting top four through league position, I'm now backing Aspas to knock United out of the Europa League and compound another miserable season at Old Trafford.
