Bye bye Mario

M'Vila is apperantly available for 12 mill and wants to move on in january
They're desperate to get rid of him so you could most probably get him for cheaper. But when a club who have no financial difficulties want to get rid of you that badly you know there's something wrong with him. He's been suspended from international duty until 2014 hasn't he?

Souness was also a bit of a nutcase, albeit an intelligent one! 😉
But casual violence was ok in the 70's and 80's, it's frowned on these days.

Besides, M'villa's nuttiness involved beating the shit out of his sister's boyfriend rather than opposition players.

You've watched Waterboy (Sandler) right? All we have to do is channel the anger, nuttiness and insanity into action on the pitch only. He's got the tools - bar sanity - to be a world class player. I say we loan him for 6 months with an option to buy.

Not too sure, Arse have had a long standing interest in him but prior to his mental episodes he was linked with Real, Milan, Juve and UTD, since then no one has gone near him.

Every top team in Europe was persistently linked with Torres for years and no-one signed him.

Doesn't *always* mean it's a bad idea.

True but in M'villa's case it is not about his ability on the football pitch but his regular mental episodes that have put people off. He does have serious off-field issues.

You're right. These guys are always a risk.

He could be like Cassano at Madrid or Cassano at Sampdoria.

The latter is real good value.

That's fine with me. I'm sure Suarez was branded a nutter by many.

Great example, and if you could get his fee down to 8-12 mill you have a potential bargain on your hands but could also recoupe most of that if things dont work out.

'course...

Brendan Rodgers' is sending the 18-year-old to the League Two side to pick up experience after featuring briefly for the Reds' this season.

Morgan started three of the Merseyside outfit's Europa League games this campaign, against Hearts twice and Anzhi Makhachkala.

"A lot of hard work has taken place to get this young lad to the club," United manager Steve Evans told the club's official website

The striker, who has played for England at Under-17 and Under-19 level, will stay at the Millers until February 9.

Morgan will join up with Evans' squad ahead of their trip to face Aldershot in the third round of the FA Cup.
