IF there were to be Playoffs for the Euro slots and relegation/promotion what would they look like ?

How are they going to bring points won into play ? We know how the Championship works (3rd vs 6th, 4th vs 5th, home advantage) though they would need to extend them too. Are points going to be worth goals perhaps ? E.G. a handicap system with say 0.2 goals per point (so a draw would be a win for a team currently ahead in the table) or would they ignore them and just go to penalties in the event of a drawn match ?

In the PL we would be champions but City and Leicester are far enough ahead to claim 2nd/3rd between them. Probably just giving City 2nd and Leicester 3rd. Leaving 4th & 5th undecided and as it stands they could take 4th down to Crystal Palace in 11th (sorry Everton - haha!) or just Chelsea, United, Wolves and Sheff Utd with a higher cutoff, which looks fairer. The FAC could be scrapped or postponed to pre-season/early next season.

In the Championship 1st and 2nd could play off for the title but 3rd to 16th all have somewhat viable claims to be included in any Playoffs ! Though they could be ruthless and just include 3rd to 10th (sorry Swansea, losing out by GD).

Or maybe they just extrapolate points won per game to date to add to current totals to finish the season (so all positions would stay the same). There are going to be a lot of unhappy bunnies.

Playoffs should be implemented for 4th place..

Semis and final tasks finishing 4th to 7th

Though the problem is it could potentially be a dead rubber if two teams who finish outside the Top 4 win both European trophies..

Can you imagine a team in 6th getting losing the CL playoff final then only to get qualification anyway by winning one of the two European trophies .

So long as we get the league I really don't give a f@*k ... except it would be funny to include Everton in relegation pay offs if it can be arranged

There should be no play offs, league just ends the way it does. There's no way I'd risk us having to have a play off for the title.

How can you say the league is over and positions can't be decided due to an insufficent number of games played due to it being too dangerous to host any more football games .... and then stage multiple football games to determine positions

Behind closed doors. Because that's what it's going to come down to. There's no way the season is going on for another 2 months with or without closed doors. It's all about getting the season over with ASAP rather than expecting that players won't catch the virus and whole squads quarantined.

Or postponing the rest of the season until the Summer.
