We're due to have a game where a few of our players put it all together and we have a great performance. Here's to hoping this is the match it happens in.

Plus Gerrard will probably put a bit more effort in given the opposition.

Liverpool in 7 games: scored: 11*; conceded: 11* (1 clean sheet); WLWLWLW

*including extra time goals against Boro, excluding penalties

On current form, I think Everton fans may have as much or even just a bit more to not have a good feeling about. Their defence has been every bit as shit as ours this season.

Having said that, we need our defenders and CMs to turn up and be on the ball. Mirallas is always a handful for our full backs, and Lukaku's the type of big pacy unit our CBs have often struggled to control in the past couple of seasons. And then there's Naismith who will be making his runs against a dozy and static Gerrard. We can only hope Stevie will be at his determined best for this game.

Most important of all - FFS, don't give away free kicks in our half, and silly corners!
