Because its another scandal involving him. Admittedly a completely different type of scandal, but this is a guy who had the captaincy taken off him once then given back to him, so it calls that judgement into question.
I don't like Terry, and suspect that he's a nasty piece of work but have no idea if he is a racist or not. Like with the Suarez case I'm not quite sure how this can be proven one way or the other anyway.

Well yeah, it'll call the original judgement into question, but that'll happen regardless. String direct action would deflect from that & gain them as many plaudits as not, certainly worldwide, if not from our biased British press.
As for action, the big difference is this is video evidence along with (presumably) Anton's statement, whereas Suarez is just Evra's word & there's zero evidence to back it up.
