Kenny Dalglish is set to call upon the services of a number of senior first-team stars for Monday night's friendly with Valerenga in Norway – a match you can watch live on LFC TV Online.

The likes of Pepe Reina, Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger are ready to join new boys Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson on the flight from John Lennon Airport to Oslo later this afternoon having missed Thursday's trip to Galatasaray.

Dalglish confirmed to Liverpoolfc.tv: "Pepe will come with us to Norway and play some part, Glen Johnson should be ready for a game, we think Daniel Agger will be back as well and we will also have Charlie, Jordan and Stewart to play."

We really need a decent performance in this match. I just read that Chelsea have played six pre-season matches and won them all without conceding a single goal. The other top teams are going to hit the ground running, and if we don't, it's going to be a long tough season.

TBH I'm not overly worried about the odd rusty performance in the first couple of games (Bolton & Sunderland arent gonna set the world alight either), provided we get the points & show improvement game on game.

Thank you mate. Yes, it will hopefully be a very nice and enjoyable game. YNWA will be very emotional tomorrow I can imagine. There has always been a very close bond between Liverpool and Norway. The supporter club got the most new members in the country last season aswell, even to the Hodg was our manager for the first 6 months.

Think there are something like 35.000 members now.

Apperantly Skrtel suffered an injury set back on friday, so if Agger cant stay fit we have some issues.
