I'd like to see this:

-----------------Reina

-----------Skrtel--Carra--Wilson

-------------Lucas---Ming

------Kuyt-----------------Johnson

-----------------Cole

-----------Suarez-----Carroll

Kuyt and Johnson operating as wing backs in the same vein as our first few games under Kenny. At least then we might see some action down the byline and crosses whipped in for Carroll. I really dont want to see a narrow, static 4-4-2 like last night with more fucking hoofball antics. If Cole is shite after 65 minutes get him off and swap him for Pacheco and give the lad a chance to prove himself in his favoured position.

Kuyt as a wing-back?! Fucking hell. The only time he's looked half-decent this season is when he's been played as a striker.

I'd play:

Reina

Carra - Skrtel - Wilson - Magic

Lucas - Spearing - Ming

Kuyt - Carroll - Suarez

Shit midfield, but what other options do we have there?

Jan Molby (I think) was saying that Joe Cole needs to be played centrally and have the team set up around him. He then said he was good enough to merit that and so we should sell. I agree with that view. He is not offering the team anything when played out wide.

I'd like to see...

Reina
Johnson Carra Skrtel Wilson
Meireles Spearing Lucas
Kuyt Carroll Suarez

That first team is a mess.

I'd be happy with Stu or B-Man's team.

433, with Spearing playing. I'll cry if I see another CM with no one that can tackle in there again.

It might not be too easy on the eye Neets but I think it is very possible Kenny could go three at the back for this one. He has done it for tough away games already.

It's not just the three at the back Stu, but Meireless that deep? Lucas and Meireless are to provide the extra defensive cover for that back three?

Nah dude

......................................REINA.........................................

JOHNSON.......CARRA.................AGGER................WILSON

...............................LUCAS...............................................

KUYT..............................RAUL..................................COLE

........................CARROLL.........SUAREZ.............................

Something is very wrong.

Any team that doesn't have Spearing in it is making me angry.

Is...Jay Spearing my hero/favourite player...? How did this happen?

Spearing could play instead of Lucas I guess.

Did you mean to type "he was not good enough to merit that"? Or is big Jan saying Cole's quality means we should get a high fee for him and cash in now?

Kenny4 - the way the King was talking last night, he made it sound like Agger could well be in contention for a place. Not sure of the current position regarding Shelvey though.

How exactly is it a fucking "mess"? Johnson has played his best football for us this season on the left. Joe Cole isn't a fucking winger. Spearing is shit and a fucking midget and kuyt has been operating as a "defensive" winger for most of his Liverpool career. If we are to play with Andy Carroll as the spearhead of our attack we need someone delivering balls into the box. Johnson can do it and Kuyt (now and a again) can too.

Doubt Carroll will start, as they'll probably look to ease him in.

Expecting to see this:

Reina
Carra Skrtel Agger Johnson
Lucas
Ming Spearing Pacheco
Kuyt Suarez

Subs: Gulacsi, Kyrgiakos, Flanagan, Maxi, Cole, Carroll, Ngog

Odd lineup, but I think Kenny yanking both Maxi and Cole at the same time in the midweek game probably says something about his frustration with the pair of them. For some odd reason, I think Kenny might give Pacheco a run out to see if he can offer something else.

I agree that Meireles should be played far more advances Anita, no question. But as we seen last night, Ming will play deep in the absence of Gerrard.
Unless your new hero plays in DM beside Lucas. Which is very possible.

In the nicest possible way, Who gives a fuck.
We have NOTHING to play for.
I cant believe we are out of everything already. At least last year we got to ths semis of the cuntsoup cup, and lost to a proper team.
March 17th! Has our season ever been totally over this early?

I beg to differ mate.

For one I'm far more excited for Sundays game than I was for our game last night. For some odd reason I've got the feeling it's been down prioritized by Kenny the European games with us trying to muster our everything to catch Spurs in the League.

I know 6 points (plus a game in hand) looks solid for Spurs but with ten games left there's still 30 points to play for. A good run for us with Spurs using a lot of energy in Europe could somehow turn qualification for Europe next Season into our favor. And next Season as we all know will be marvelous, splendid, new, exciting, awesome etc.

We should be pleased our season is done, if Roy had still been steadying the ship we could still have everything to play for. By everything I mean staying in the premier league.

Absolutely. With the King in charge I'm confident things will turn out all right. With Roy I'd have bitten my nails down to the knuckle by now.

To be expected IMO.

[/quote]Carroll looked absolutely shattered at the end of the game last night.
I would be very surprised if he were to start another game in such a short period of time

Ah, you woke up on that side of the bed today?

This season was ruined before it started. Now that there's nothing to play for, we'll likely play better. Then we can get rid of some shit.

The best thing we can do is start consistently playing actual football, and I'm eager to see Suarez and Carroll play together.

My first reaction is that there might be a few decent games to enjoy and see a bit more of Suarez and Carroll together, but thinking about it a little more I realize I don't care either. I'm not particularly interested in watching this group of players trying to flatter to deceive.

I'm more interested in what kind of transfer activity we're going to see this summer.
