Well that's some excellent news right there if on the button. I have us down for 1-1 but as Fulham have a number of 1st teamers out, if Torres plays well and if Aquilani gets the last 20 mins, then I'm starting to feel more optimistic.

A win is a must for today's game. Else all the hard work and effort put in against the mancs will be wasted.
A win and we will definitely gain a place or two in the table. It will lift a whole load of pressure on our players. It will be a small game when we look at it at the end of the season. But for the next few weeks......a win here will be a major boost.

Agger is now out and will be replaced by the greek.
If nothing else, Fulham will be nice and compact. It will be tough to try and break them down if we dont have Torres and even if we do have Torres, he could be isolated if we play Voronin behind him because Voronin plays the game too slowly.
I'd like to see Benayoun and Kuyt play in the wider positions with 2 fast players upfront in Torres andBabel/Ngog.
The positives I can see is that, Fulham will have 2 fast players to deal with, it may make their defence play a little deeper and it gives options to play the ball over the top and get their defence turned and force mistakes. We'd also have attacking players in Benni and Kuyt supporting them.
I desperately hope Voronin doesnt play. If we are to rely on him to make things happen, I fear the game will be played too slowly and not very effectively and could result in our lone striker being isolated.

Bad news about Agger, if true. I think I'd rather have Skrtel in the team than Zorba though.
Agree with rebel (!) that it would be interesting to see a Torres-Wash partnership. I'm not sure this is really the game to be experimenting, but Wash might well come into his own with a fast, brilliant strike partner. Some of his flicks and passes against Arsenal were truly lovely.
