I bet the real reason why they're letting him go for such a low price is that he's just tested positive for the Ebola virus.

Someone ring the club and make sure an Ebola test is included in the medical.

I've always had a soft spot for him - as @Judge Jules will attest - and I think we have the right gaffa and team to take him to the next level. I hope we all look back fondly on this day as the day Mario arrived and eventually ended the 'Italians and Liverpool FC don't go well together" thesis.
 
I heard Gab Marcotti give an interview on a podcast this summer during the World Cup and I swear he was eating and trying to talk on the phone at the same time. Oh and wheezing heavily. Fat slob.

It'd be fun to have a great Italian player at LFC. Maybe we make one of those half and half jerseys. Half LFC half Italia 100% Balotelli. Like those crazy Harbaugh jerseys.

I have been refreshing this thread all afternoon waiting for something concrete to happen and then saw he is flying tomorrow. Fuck that get on a plane and get over here, I want tweeted pictures of him in the airport and stuff, this is properly exciting shit.
 
This is the best summer present of all for me. Just checked and I've posted (and started threads) since 2009 (and every year since) about wanting Balotelli.

5 fucking years and here he is all wrapped up for just 16m in a summer when Shane Long went for 12m.
