So he is on Liverpool's radar. This summer, they would have to sell him or he walks free. I am not saying he will come to us, but knowing he is on the list as potential target means we are looking far and wide for possible options
@moron You'll like this guy... So much Gini like

LIVERPOOL INTERESTED IN BRAZILIAN TEENAGER, ALREADY HAVE STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS CLUB

Liverpool are interested in Andre Trindade as they consider launching another raid on Brazilian side Fluminense, this time for the midfielder.
Liverpool will of course seek first-team additions this summer but their current focus appears to be talented young players.
Ben Doak is coming in from Celtic whilst Fulham’s Fabio Carvalho will also arrive this summer.
Adding more teenagers will hopefully give Liverpool a bright future, and they now appear to have their eyes on another.
Brazilian talent Andre Trindade – who usually goes just by ‘Andre’ – is now on the Liverpool radar.
Liverpool are interested in Andre Trindade

Fluminense news outlet NETFLU report that Liverpool have joined the race to sign Andre this summer.
It’s suggested that three clubs – Ajax, Barcelona and Udinese – have all been watching Andre with a view to a move.
Liverpool have now joined in though and Reds scouts have been watching Andre ahead of a possible bid.
The report also notes that Liverpool have a ‘good relationship’ with Fluminense.
The Brazilian side sold young goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga to Liverpool in 2020 and there are high hopes for him at Anfield.
That relationship may just give Liverpool the upper hand though Ajax, Barcelona and Udinese are regularly shopping in Brazil and will have built up links of their own.
Andre is a year older than Pitaluga at 20 but there is excitement over him too after 69 first-team appearances for Fluminense.
Primarily a holding midfield player, Andre has played plenty of senior football for his age and may be ready for the move to Europe.
Liverpool already have a strong contingent of Brazilian stars like Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino, so the move may well appeal to Andre.
Liverpool seem to be at the scouting stage right now but Fluminense’s season ongoing even after Liverpool finish theirs, Andre could be a player to keep an eye on this summer.

We know if it's a choice between PSG and LFC, PSG can afford to throw money
[article]
Paris St-Germain are likely to sign either Nice and France midfielder Khephren Thuram, 22, or 27-year-old Lens and Ivory Coast midfielder Seko Fofana as an alternative to Bellingham. (CaughtOffside)

As an alternative to Bellingham? So who will afford him, then?

Which 2-3+ signings in MF not including Jude. You have a total budget of £200M which includes out lays on CB and RB should you think we need one

I mean if we are going hypothetical I'd still go

Timber - 40m
Ndicka - Free
Gravenberch - 40m
Tielemens - Free
Bellingham - 120m
Exclude Bellingham, as he has been ruled out.
So far we have been strongly linked to in order of in media column inches
Mount
Gravenbach
Mac Allister
Ndicka
Timber
If we ended up with just these guys, I would say that's a good summer.
Other players whom I would call realistic targets we have been linked to;
Barella
Thuram
Gallagher
Ugarte
Kone
Koopenmeirs

No. He's been ruled out for the price that's been quoted.

Since we've given up on Jude, we should go for Nicolo Barella or Moise Caicedo, but we won't.

If we are signing a 6, then we should go for Ugarte, but we won't.

I think in a 'very good case' scenario we sign three of the following, which would be fine in my low expectation world:

Mac Allister
Mason Mount
Matheus Nunes
Ryan Gravenberch
Kephren Thuram
Romeo Lavia

Someone I think we haven't been linked with but I wish we would look at is Rodrigo Bentancur. Spurs don't need to sell but surely no one wants to hang around that club too long? Finally, if we are looking for relegation fodder, what about Tyler Adams?

I think we'll get 2 mids, neither of which tread on the toes of jude (as i believe the club still hope they can get him next year).

Ryan Gravenberch
Kephren Thuram
Mac Allister
Mason Mount

I'll take 2 of those

Have we given up? Have we?

I will not leave this campfire until its over.

Tanking one season waiting for Jude is painful. I cannot even begin to describe how I would feel about tanking two seasons waiting for Jude.

On a sidenote, Mount's season has effectively ended.

[article]Chelsea fullback Reece James' season is over.

The England defender has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury - as has Blues teammate Mason Mount.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said: "Reece James will be unavailable for the rest of the season, Mason Mount the same.

"Reece had a hamstring injury in the midweek game," added Lampard. "He got through it but then had a scan and he's out.

"Mason has been carrying a pelvic injury for a while. It predates myself and he has been trying typically but he will have minor surgery, then a four-week recovery.

"He [Mount] might make the last match but that's unlikely, which is obviously disappointing for us."

[article]Mason Mount and Chelsea are still well apart in new contract negotiations.

The midfielder has just over a year to run on his current deal, with talks over new terms dragging on for over 12 months.

The Mirror says Chelsea's latest offer is worth €125,000-a-week - which is a healthy jump from his current €80,000-a-week deal.

However, Mount feels he deserves much more and has been demanding €250,000-a-week to re-sign.

Mount was informed by chairman Todd Boehly in a face-to-face meeting in recent days that their first-choice was for him to stay.[/article]

Liverpool's quest for a new sporting director is 'going in the right direction', insists Jurgen Klopp - but Reds boss admits he is not directly 'involved' in their hiring process as they plot to rebuild this summer after a poor term

[article]'I am not involved in the 'talks' but maybe in the talks around, yes,' Klopp said. 'I am not the person in the club who can give (a) real answer about where it stands. That's in the hands of other people. What I heard is it's all going in the right direction.

He continued: 'How many clubs are there out there without a sporting director now? Is there any club without a sporting director or a guy in the role of the sporting director? City, Arsenal, no. United, they have a sporting director?

'Pretty much everybody has a sporting director. That's because it makes sense. With the decisions, how the manager is involved with decision-making, that is not a thing. But the process. If a manager has to do that, I don't know how the guys did that in the past!

'Around that, talking to all the agents and all these kind of things. And constantly talking about a pound here and a pound there. You need people for that, there is no chance.

'And that's why, yes, I'm happy with the structure. The guy or lady we get will be absolutely right. But nothing to say in the moment.'

Liverpool travel to West Ham on the back of consecutive wins but Klopp, who could be without defender Ibrahima Konate, is mindful of the threat David Moyes' rejuvenated team possess and is hugely respectful of their manager.

'If West Ham had sacked David, I would have been the oldest manager in the Premier League - so David has to stay!' Klopp quipped. 'Seriously, David is a really good person, as far as I know, a really good colleague over the last seven years.

'David stands for consistency. He has made West Ham his club. They are super dangerous and this will be a difficult game. But we have got to be uncomfortable to play against once more. We have got to make the next step.'

Providing we actually strengthen the midfield this time, the hope is we'll still be alright a year later. We have to get 2 mids in though. 3 if we aren't confident on jude

Even with three, our squad appears a bit on the thinner side with Hendo, Fab, and Thiago being unreliable. If we sign just two so that we spend one more year waiting for Jude, we are dickheads.

My logic would be our midfield is thus:

Starting: New DM, New CM, A.Nother

Now for rotation that leaves Stefan, Thiago, henderson, fabinho, jones, harvey, all to rotate in to that 3rd spot, or to give one of the new mids a break. Lets not foget theres every chance Trent might even be moved forward

Thats manageable for a year. As opposed to what we had now, where we had midfielders dead on their arse, or totally inexperienced in that role

Then Jude comes in next year, fabs and thiago goes, Stefan gets better, and we've still got hendo jones and elliott. Maybe pick up another youngish or journeyman midfielder here to give the DM a bit of breathing room, unless Stefan and Hendo are able to deputise

The risk with spending all the money on nothig but mids this year, is that our CBs end up fucked and we end up scuppered by that in 2 years.

2CMs, a CB, maybe a forward player to replace bobby. If trent becomes a CM, A RB rather than a forward
Next year, 1 CM (jude), 1 RW, 1 LB
Year after who knows.

Our starting midfield for the first game of the new season will contain at least two, possibly three, of our current midfield options.

I've no doubt. More than likely fabinho and henderson with a newbie next to them. If we sign Thuram and Mac Allister, it'll definitely be Mac Allister who starts

Tony Cascarino believes Liverpool would be stupid to not go for kalvin Phillips

Who the fuck is tony cascarino
