Such an utterly wank squad

It's been the same for years. If you alter our first eleven in any way it's like playing kerplunk. Squad is cack. How bad must Pacheco be if maxi and cole start ahead of him?

The one thing Carra had in his favour is that at least his long balls had a direction and reasonable accuracy at times.

Half the time we just hoofed it aimlessly.

Shocking.

Can't disagree. His precision isn't bad but in order for it to work we have to win the second ball. Which we more often than not didn't. Hood ball doesn't suit us and it never has. It's not the Livepool way. Pass and move is the grove...
Like so many seasons before I'm really looking forward to the summer.

Apparently he's better than Jovanovic cause he was no where to be seen. Still, not a look-in.

Really is.

Couldve been jose managing us tonight, doubt it'd have panned out differently.

Absolutely zero pace, it's depressing as fuck.

Heyho No sunday matches next season ! (hopefully, fingers crossed the F.a cup final doesnt jew us over)

Can you please refrain from using any language or phrases that have a race connotation please? Even if no offence is intended it can sometimes happen. Thanks

can pass and move be classed as the 'liverpool groove' anymore? it's been over 10 years since we've played that type of football.

I'm disappointed with Kenny's performance in Europe I have to say. I think it has to give us all pause for thought. We can't be blinded by our love, all the time.

That team is better than Braga for sure. Roy would have done better, I would wager.

Oh, shit !

Did we sack Roy too soon ?

I know you're awaiting Rafa's rightful return, but still.

Did we actually fuck up ?

Of course, not, but I'm just saying (heretical as it is), Kenny's European performances have been dire. Night and day to the joy of our league wins. It's something to be concerned about. Rafa ain't coming back, but I do like to honor how he held us together (in an imperfect dysfunctional way of course..). Let's look beyond the obvious here themn..

Well as long as Kenny does it in the league I couldn't give a toss what happens in Europe.

amen brother ..... couldn't give a fuck tbh

Missing Aurelio, Agger, Kelly, Gerrard and Suarez was just too much damage to take. Not excusing the hoof ball tactics on that day , but we really put out a very shit team, which was sadly, the best we could do.

Folks who bring up ridiculous theories about how the beloved Rafa would've won need to do their homework.

Look it up - when Benitez led the team through the Europa games, he always had at least 4 of these 5 available (except for the first leg against Unirea, and even then, he had 3 of them): Agger, Gerrard, Mascherano, Benayoun, Torres. He also had a specialist leftback available (albeit a poor one), instead of a rookie playing in a position that most reckon isn't his place.

Some perspective is needed. Benitez could've crashed out as well with that squad. Do people need reminding how we used to play at times when he had the luxury of Peter Crouch on the field?
